After you landed in Louisiana, Hunter's parents picked you up from the airport. You have to say, they're some of the sweetest people you ever met.
On the way to their house, they talked to you about everything. Like how Hunter feels about you, the things he said when he came back, what he's been up to lately, and what he plans to do eventually.
When y'all finally get to the house, Lynette tells you that Hunter had to go play a gig but he should be back any minute now.
Their house is really beautiful. It's a one story house and it's not huge, but it's still really nice. As you look around, you see that there are tons of Hunter's baby pictures everywhere.
You stop looking around when you hear Lynette calling you. You go find her and she shows you the guest bedroom, where you'll be staying. "Thank you Mrs. Hayes. You have a very beautiful house by the way," you say with a smile. "Thank you. And by the way, you can call me Lynette," she says. You smile and nod.
After a few minutes, she leaves out to get started on dinner. You start unpacking your things and getting settled and then you hear someone open the front door. "Mom! Dad! I'm home!"
Holy crap he's here already. You turn out the lights in your room and close your door, leaving it slightly open so you can still see what's going on in the kitchen.
"How did your gig go?" Leo asks. "It went really good actually. And I FINALLY have enough money to get that thing for Jaidyn so I'm going to need you to come with me later on this week so I can pick one out for her," he says with a huge smile.
He gives both of his parents a hug and heads towards the laundry room, taking his shirt off in the process.
Lynette shifts her attention to you and gestures for you to come out of the guest bedroom and into the kitchen.
You run out of the room and stand next to Lynette as you wait for Hunter to come back into the kitchen. You're smiling like an idiot and your heart is racing. You can't wait to see his reaction.
"So, what are you getting ready to do now?" Leo asks Hunter. You can hear him coming out of the laundry room. "Well I need to take a shower first and then I need to facetime Jai---"
He freezes up when he sees you. His eyes grow wide and he's not smiling, he just looks really shocked.
You stare at your shirtless 20 year old boyfriend, hoping that he'll say something. You're starting to get worried that he's not too happy to see you and your smile fades.
"Hey can you guys give us a few minutes?" He says, looking at his parents. They nod and walk out of the kitchen, giving you and Hunter some privacy.
Hunter's eyes shift to yours and he starts to walk towards you. "Will you please say something? It's kinda hard to tell if you're happy to see me or---"
He cuts you off, pressing his lips to yours and wrapping his arms around your waist. You're a little thrown off at first, but eventually you wrap your arms around him and kiss him back. Throughout the kiss, you smile and enjoy the feeling of his lips on yours again and your hands on his strong, muscular back.
He slowly pulls away and smiles at you. "I missed you so much..." "I missed you too Hunter," you say, wrapping your arms around his neck and kissing him again.
