When you get home, you put on your pjs, plop onto your bed, and put on your favorite movie at the moment, which is The Fault In Our Stars.
You grab your Starbucks cup and take a sip of your latte as the movie starts. You've had a latte from Starbucks millions of times, but for some reason it tastes ten times better. Hunter must really know what he's doing.
When you finish your drink, you're about to sit on your nightstand but you notice some black writing on the cup and you turn on the light on your nightstand.
You take a look at your cup again, and see the words "call me?" written on it along with his phone number.
"Oh my god," you say, laughing and freaking out.
It's actually pretty funny that he wrote his number on the cup instead of just asking you for it, but he probably got nervous and that's just adorable.
You pick up your phone and dial the phone number that he wrote on the cup. After a few rings, he answers his phone.
"So I'm guessing that you finally noticed the writing on the cup?" He asks, laughing.
"Yes I did! I'm sorry that I didn't see it till now. I was driving and then I got home and started watching a movie and I'm kinda tired so yeah I'm sorry about that. The latte was very good by the way..." you reply.
"Hey it's okay! And I'm sorry about that. I just should've asked you for your number but I was really nervous about it so I thought this would be easier," he says. "No its okay Hunter. I thought it was really sweet actually," you say, smiling.
"I'm glad," he chuckles. "Hey um...I know that you're tired so I just wanted to ask you if you would be interested in coming over to my house sometime and I can make you dinner?"
"Oh my goodness Hunter," you laugh. "I would love that."
"Okay! Does tomorrow work for you?" He asks. "Yeah that works!" You reply.
"Okay. By the way, I don't want you to feel pressured to go out with me or anything. We can just be friends and hang out and--nevermind. I talk too much. You get what I'm saying right?" he says, laughing.
"Yeah I get what you're saying! Just friends?" You say. "Yeah. Just friends!" He says. "Okay," you say, smiling.
"Alright. Well, I don't want to keep you on the phone all night so I guess that I'll just see you tomorrow?" He says.
You can tell that he would love to keep talking to you, but he knows that its late and you're tired and both of you have to work in the morning.
"Yeah! I'll see you tomorrow," you say.
"Okay. Goodnight Payden," he says.
"Goodnight Hunter," you say before you hang up the phone.
You bury your face into your pillow and let out a scream. You can't believe that that just happened.
