You're in your bedroom crying your eyes out. Your parents are arguing again and you're just tired of it. Its been like this for a while now, and everytime it seems like they're doing better, they go back to arguing again. You just want things to go back to the way they were, but you highly doubt that that's going to happen.

You hear your phone ring and you pick it up and see that Hunter is calling you. He sent you a few messages earlier, but you were too sad at the moment and didn't feel like responding. Obviously, now he knows that something is wrong. You try to get yourself together before you answer his phone call. "Hello?" You say as best as you can.

"Hey! Are you alright? You didn't respond to the text messages I sent you earlier," he says, sounding concerned. "No Hunter, I-I'm not alright. I'm a little messed up right now. My parents are fighting again," you say, your voice trembling and tears streaming down your face.

"Sarah, do you want me to come and get you?" He asks. "No Hunter, I'll be fine. You don't have to--"

"No, I want to. It's not good for you to be in the house while that's going on. I'll be over there in five minutes. I lo-- I mean... nevermind," he sighs. "I'll see you in a few minutes, okay?"

"Okay," you say before you hang up the phone. Hunter is right. It's not good for you to be here and you do need to get out of the house. Hunter is your only best friend and he's always been there for you. You're thankful to have him in your life, especially now since things are starting to get difficult for you.

You put on your converse and your winter coat, and head downstairs as you wait for Hunter to arrive.
