"Did you do something different with the house?" Hunter asks as he takes off his coat and sits on the couch in your living room.

"I just painted a few walls a different color and moved some furniture around. Do you like it?" You say as you straighten up some things in the kitchen. "Yeah! It looks nice!" He replies.

He turns on the TV and starts looking for something to watch and settles on The Wedding Singer, which happens to be one of your favorite movies. "So...is there anything going on with you?"

"What do you mean is there anything going on with me?" You ask. "Anything! Like what have you been up to lately?" He says, jumping up and walking into the kitchen. "Nothing. Just the usual. Working and trying not to stress out..." you reply. "You're stressing out?" He asks, coming closer to you. "A little bit..." you say, trying not to make eye contact with him.

"(Y/N), what's wrong?" He says, gently grabbing your face and making you look him in the eyes. "Hunter, I'm fine," you reply.

He grabs you by your waist and pulls you close to him, slowly kissing your lips. You want to kiss him back, but you really don't know what you want to do. "Hunter no," you say, pulling away from the kiss and pushing him away. "We're supposed to be just friends, remember?"

"(Y/N), what's going on with you?" He asks, clearly frustrated. "Hunter, we can't keep doing this. One minute we're together and one minute we're not. What are we doing?" You say. "Why don't you tell me? I know exactly what I want to do, but you keep telling me that you just want to be friends! (Y/N), why do you keep doing the same thing over and over again?" He says.

"Doing what?" You ask. "Going back and forth! You're confused! One minute you want to be with me, and the next minute, you don't! You know...sometimes I wonder if you meant it when you said that you loved me," he says, sounding angry. "Hunter, I do love you. Things are just really difficult for me right now!" You say. "And you don't think they're not difficult for me? (Y/N), when you love someone, you make the changes that are necessary so you can make things work. I made changes. You said that you wanted me to come out with our relationship regardless of how everyone would react and I did that. You asked me to make more time for you, and I am TRYING. But you're not being patient with me and you're just giving up on us over and over again. I'm getting sick of it," he says. His eyes are getting watery and he sounds pissed off. He runs his hands through his hair a couple times and takes a deep breath. "If you actually want to talk to me about something that makes sense, I'll be upstairs."

"Hunter, I'm sorry," you say, touching his arm and trying to stop him from going upstairs. "(Y/N), please just leave me alone for right now..." he says, taking your hand off of his arm. He grabs his jacket from off the couch and starts to head upstairs.
