Move in

It's happening. Liam and I are moving in together. We'll be under the same apartment ceiling. In each other's presence whenever we're home together. Sleepovers with my favorite person always. I watched as the Uhaul truck pulled up and Liam helped me load. My mom was in tears. "My baby is growing." I kissed her cheek and waved off as the truck drove off. Liam and I followed behind with Max in my lap. Max was wagging his tail he was so excited. We pulled up to the large building and Liam came to a
stop. We grabbed my stuff and headed upstairs as Max followed. The door turned slowly. I walked in looking for a light switch in the pitch black room. "SURPRISE." I heard someone scream and the lights turned on. Kat and Lucy stood there smiling as Dylan and Carter raided the food. Lucy had Marcy in her hands. I walked over to them still in schock. Lucy handed me Marcy and I gave Marcy a forehead kiss. "What're you even doing here?!" I was so enthused but confused. "Welcoming party." Lucy and Kat said in unison. I hugged them and Liam came behind me. "Surprise sweetie." He whispered. I slapped his arm lightly with my free hand and he winced. "Do you not like?" He asked concerned. I shook my head and everyone's expressions dropped. "I love it." I said smiling. "And I love you." Liam said kissing my cheek. "Fag." I said pushing him off before sitting down in a chair and playing with Marcy in my lap. She giggled and tried to suck my finger. I played with little fingers and gave them little kisses. As she fell asleep I gave her back to Lucy who put her in her swingset. I always thought I would never want to move away. That leaving my family would be the end. Yet here I am. With everyone I love. I made it. Finally.
