-Lucy-
"Mari?." I choked out weakly. She turned her head slightly. "I need to see a doctor." I sighed. She nodded as if she agreed. She then pulled out her phone and made an appointment. "Your appointment is at 2p.m." I looked at the clock. 12p.m? I slept 12 hours? I felt like throwing up. I stood up and ran to the bathroom, I instantly threw up. I gagged as I looked in the mirror. I pulled out my phone and played some music. I decided I need to shower. I turned the water on, then stripped from my clothes before stepping into the shower. I looked down, my stomach looked bloated. I sighed at the sight. I felt disgusting. I washed up and stepped out the shower. I wrapped a towel around me and opened the bathroom door. Mari stood outside the door with some clothes and handed them to me with a smile. I walked back into the bathroom and changed into the clothes. She gave me some sweatpants and a baggy shirt. I decided to throw my damp hair into a huge messy bun. I checked the time on my phone. 1:00. I was in there an hour. Mari sat on the couched, she had her keys in her hand. She had leggings and one of Liam's hoodies on. She stood up when she seen me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. "Let's go." She said and I followed her out the door. She drove me to the doctor, checked me in. Even stayed with me. They decided that I needed to take a pregnancy test. So I did. We had to wait a couple hours for the results. Mari was reading a magazine when the doctor came into the waiting rooms smiling. "It's positive." Mari's jaw dropped and I felt tears escape my eyes. "You're kidding, right?" The doctor shook her head. Mari looked shock and held my hand. "Nope 2 weeks." I felt my heart drop. No fucking way. I couldn't call Dylan because he was in school and I had no idea how to tell him. Mari had the weakest smile plastered on her face. She had no idea how to react. Then again neither did I. The doctor gave me sheets with the results and dismissed us. We scheduled an appointment for an ultrasound next month. I was nervous. Mari drove me home and dropped the keys on the coffee table. "Are you okay?" She asked sweetly. I shrugged. "Want some ice cream?" I nodded and she picked her keys up again. "Put the papers somewhere safe, let's go." She drove us to an ice cream parlor. We sat in a booth. I had peanut butter delight and she had a banana split. "How are you going to tell Dylan?" She sounded curious. I sighed. "I'm not even sure yet." I felt tears sting my eyes and choked them back. "I'm here for you, I can help." She said. "I'd like that." She smiled. "What if he decides to leave me? I mean this baby is his." I said rubbing my belly. Mari looked off in space. "I don't think Dylan would do that." Mari said. "Dylan wouldn't do what?" Liam asked walking up to the booth. "Shit." I mumbled. "What're you doing here?" Mari questioned him. Liam did his genuine smile. "I thought I'd drop by and see my favorite person and my best friend's favorite person." My face dropped. My mind flooded with thoughts of Dylan and my future. Is this baby a mistake? No that's just cruel. Mari acted like nothing happened. Reasons to love Mari. She knows when to change the subject. Liam took a bite of her ice cream and turned back to me. "So how are you Lucy?" How am I? OH I DO NOT FUCKING KNOW I'M PREGNANT WITH YOUR NEPHEW. "Fine." I finally replied. Liam nodded, then kissed Marilyn's nose. She crinkled her nose. I laughed a little then bit into my ice cream. What am I going to do? How am I going to tell him? When will I tell him? Liam's phone went off. "Oh look speak of the devil." He answered the phone. "Hey Dylan we were just talking about you, yeah we're at Oberweis. See ya in ten." My anxiety began to rise and Mari noticed. She scooted towards me and sat beside me. "It'll be okay. He loves you." She mumbled. Liam looked around cluelessly for Dylan. Then he walked in through the glass doors. I felt like running out and crying. Yet I sat still and held back every feeling I have. I was emotionless. I was lost. I was pregnant. I was screwed?
