Ch.5: A Bedtime Story

Levi's cabin is just around the corner to Commander Erwin's. As you and Sasha turns that corner, you couldn't help but look back at it as you're passing by. Sasha follows your gaze, and pulls you back and says "Since we're here already. Why don't you check on up him."
You gaze into Sasha's eyes with eagerness, placing your hands onto her shoulders and pulls her into a big hug. "Don't wait for me. But I won't take long." Sasha pulls away with a smile, "No worries, even if you stay over. I'll let them know."
"Thanks." you said as you pull her into another hug "Be careful, Sasha." as you watch her walk towards the cadet cabins. She gave you a wave of reassurance.

You step towards Levi's cabin, walking gingerly up the wooden steps, hoping that he's be awake. The curtains were drawn and the fire in the lantern that hung at the top of the front door frame had already gone out. You knocked on the door.
*Knock knock*

and waited for a few seconds.
You turned around about to walk away, when you heard a *click* as the door unlocks. A much dishevelled looking Levi opens the door enough for him to see who it was. Levi was wearing a white dress shirt, with a few buttons undone to his collar bone, the top of the shirt slanted to one side showing some bandages on the wrapped up arm, with a pair of light brown pants. However, when he saw it was you, without a word, his hand grips your wrist and pulls you into the unlit cabin.

While your eyes adjust to the dark, all you felt was Levi wrapping his arms around your waist, as he props his sleepy head on your shoulder. You stroke his firm back gently and touched your fingertips lightly on his bandaged arm. "Is your arm okay?" you ask.
"This is nothing really, I told you not to worry........but I'm glad you came." you withdrew from the hug and pulls on his good arm. Placing both your hands on his firm shoulders, so he sits on the edge of his bed. "Now that I'd made sure you are okay, it's time for you to rest." Suddey, he pulls you toward him to stand between his opened legs, and wraps his arms around your waist, as he leans his forehead on your belly  "Can't you stay? Just another night." he said. As he pulls you into a hug and places the side of his face on your belly.  You look down upon his head and gently runs your fingers through his black hair.
Gingerly lifted his head off your belly, you cup your hands on his cheeks lifting his head up to look at you. "What if .... what if I told you I want to be with you forever."

You saw Levi's eyes lite up. He held you closer in his arms. "Then, I want us to spent the rest of our lives together." After he says this, he puts his left arm under your knees and hoisted you up carefully. Setting you down, so you sit on his lap bridal style. You put your arms around his neck for support. As he gazes at you, " After this is all over. We can build our house in the new found land."
You smile at him and leans in to kiss him on the lips. He cups your cheek in his hand to deepen the kiss, as he slowly lay you down on his bed.

Levi hovers above you for a minute, just to to admire the girl in front of him. Using his finger to lift away the strand on hair away from your face, and proceeds to kiss on your forehead. Then he rolls over to lay beside you on his large twin size bed.

Levi turns his head to look at you, his fingertips gently touches your fingertips, sliding his palm against yours as he intertwines your fingers with his. He held on to your hand as he pulls up to kiss the back on your hand. You gaze back at him with a warm smile, as you scoot closer to him and close your eyes to sleep. Levi places both of your hands still intertwined together, in between the little space available between the two of you and slowly closes his eyes. You couldn't see his smile in the dark, but he knows you will understand how he felt. How he felt to have someone he love beside him. Someone who he knows will always think and love him for who he is, for whatever circumstances that may come ahead.
