Ch. 31: Book

As you got out of the gate. Levi's hand reaches over to the back of your head.
You look at him with blushing cheeks, thinking that he was going to kiss you again. As if he hasn't kissed you enough.

His fingers picks off a leaf that got tangled in your hair. He glances at you, before taking your hand.

Now the both of you stand in front of Sasha's door. Levi let your hand go and stuffs it into his pants pocket. While his other hand rattles onto door.

*Knock knock knock*

Then he crosses his arms over his chest as there was no response.

You try knocking on her door.

*Knock knock*

Still no response.

Levi narrows his eyes at the door, and holds out an arm for you to back away.

You take a few steps back, as you see Levi takes a step back, lifting his leg up.

As he was about to slam his feet onto the door.

*Squeeek* the door opens slightly, but there wasn't anyone you could see from your height.

Then *Bang* as Levi didn't retract his leg and opens the door to it's full length as his feet slams the door open. His feet still on the door as Levi looks down.

You look down as well.

The both of you were looking down at Furlan, with his sleepy eyes looking up at the both of you.

Furlan's eyes now sparkling in awe as he got awaken by his dad slamming the door open with his feet.

Levi slowly puts his leg down, as Furlan looks at his dad with so much aspiration.

Then Levi kneels down to pick up Furlan into his arms and walks into the dark room, you follow after as you were not sure what is going on.

Inside, the curtains were drawn. You couldn't see anything well until your eyes adjusted to the dark.

Suddenly a large beam of light painted the room, quite blindly as Levi pulls the curtains open. Then you hear the groan of the red hair girl as she shuffles in her bed, and covers her head with her comforter.

Levi goes to stand by the side of her bed, and abruptly pulls off the comforter in one swift move with one hand, while he holds Furlan up in his other arm.

"Wake up!" Levi almost yelled at Sasha in her bed, as she springs to sit up from her bed.

"I'm awake!" she yelled into the openess of her room, then realize Levi was staring at her, his eyes not so much of a hint of friendliness as he dawns his grey eyes on her.

"Who lets a kid open the door himself, when the guardian is sleeping soundly in bed?" Levi questions.

Sasha quickly get out of bed with a deep apologetic bow.

You look at Sasha, as your hand goes to grab Levi's shoulder to loosen it up.

"She must have played with him all night, and she's tired. Give her a break." you utter.

Levi looks back at you, as Furlan does the same, then Furlan looks at his dad's frowning face.

"Daddy." Furlan calls out to his dad to get his attention. As he places both of his small hands onto his dad's cheeks. Patting it lightly as he says, "We played a lot yesterday. Sasha took care of Furlan. I want to play again."

Levi looks at Furlan with a soft spot in his heart for his son.

Then Levi looks back at Sasha, who stands up straight to listen to any order given by the captain.
