2: The Start Of A New Life

The next morning

"Mi Na, Ji Won, wakey wakey!" Momo chanted, furiously jumping on their bed like a feral monkey had just barged in their house. When she noticed that her two sisters were still in Wonderland, the eldest huffed and jumped even higher, her tiny little feet landing on the bed harder as it caused an impact and bounce so strong it made Mi Na and Ji Won jump too.

The two sisters widened their eyes in surprise and quickly pushed their blankets away from them, sitting up instantly, thinking a disaster was coming to them. They panted hard, gasping, only to look that the source of the disaster itself was none other than Momo. She had just interrupted one of their best sleeps yet.

"Yah, why did you have to do that, unnie?!" Ji Won pouted, playfully kicking Momo's leg. "I...I thought an earthquake was coming to our house." the girl rubbed her eyes and yawned, stretching her arms as wide as she could, her hand almost hitting Mi Na's face from the result. Mi Na quickly pushed her sister's arm away from blocking her sight, glaring and huffing at her.

"We're gonna harvest the crops with abeoji now??" Mi Na asked in a complaining tone, groaning as she lazily relaxed her body while looking up. "Can't we get just a few minutes more to rest, pleeeaseeee?" she whined, pouting cutely to her older sister in an attempt to convince Momo to grant their wish. The oldest girl moved back and arched her eyebrows in surprise, tilting her face to the left while looking at her two sisters in disbelief.

She then looked outside the window and noticed their father pulling a wooden cart, looking at her while moving his chin up, questioning what they were doing there. Momo sighed deeply and looked at Mi Na and Ji Won while clicking her tongue, folding her arms while huffing out air.

"Nope nope nope." Momo breathed out and shook her head sharply, signalling them she had made her decision clearly, said decision not being able to be denied anymore. "Let's go let's go! We can't tolerate abeoji getting exhausted just because of waiting for us." the girl groaned and pulled Mi Na and Ji Won's arm, pulling them out of the bed as she insisted them to stand.

Mi Na stretched her body and let out a huge and long yawn like a lioness just getting up from her long nap in the afternoon, her mouth opening so wide she could swallow a watermelon whole. The five-year-old girl then swung her arms frantically as she walked across their house, taking off her slightly torn out pajamas and changing it into a dark red robe. Mi Na put her pajamas on top of a nearby table she saw and proceeded to join her sisters.

She saw another red robe and hurriedly grabbed it, soon walking to Ji Won and throwing it to her sister. The youngest girl's reflexes immediately activated themselves and she quickly grabbed the robe with her right hand, putting it on swiftly easily. It was just going to be another day for them, waking up in the morning and then helping their father grow his seeds into plants and then harvest the ones that had already matured enough.

"Let's go." Mi Na ruffled Ji Won's hair, pinching her little sister's cheek afterwards. The girl nodded with a grin and the two sisters soon joined their eldest sister after packing up their small cloth bags and putting on their soft leather shoes, exiting their house with roofs that had holes- they had to struggle with the rain sometimes especially when it poured hard, but it's okay. Once they had left their house, Momo made sure everything was done and slowly nodded as she pulled the wooden door, closing it.

The three sisters ran to their father who was pulling his cart with several bags in it, each bag was probably filled with the plants he had pulled out from the ground. He heard their noisy and messy footsteps and immediately turned his head to the left as his eyes landed on three beautiful adorable angels he would forever be grateful to have as his daughters. The man grinned happily and crouched down as he opened his arms wide, the three girls running to him as they hugged him tightly.
