"There is one definite way that could certainly set me free from this prison." he hummed deeply, scratching his chin with his sharp claws. "There is one being, one perfect being of special abilities that could grant the gods immense powers, making them indestructible, immortality." he breathed out, earning even more eagerness from the two girls. "A Paragon." he smiled in enthusiasm.

"A Paragon?" Han Ri and Jeong Yeon raised their eyebrows, surprised from the word they heard. "What's a Paragon?" the younger one instead asked, looking at her elder sister who then looked at her back with a 'seriously?' expression carved on her face.

"A Paragon is the perfect being with incredible powers and the ability to control minds!" Jeong Yeon groaned. "You seriously don't know what a Paragon is?!" she stated in disbelief as creases etched on her forehead, only to be responded by her sister who was innocently shaking her head. "You've still got plenty to learn about the world, little sister." she chuckled.

"Do not be so hopeful first, my daughter." Mal Gu chuckled upon hearing Jeong Yeon's words. "The Paragon exists nowhere but only in legends. There is no possibility one exists in this very world we are stepping on. We can only pray for miracles." he sighed deeply while looking up at the unpleasant sight of the yellowish sky in the deserted Outer Realm. "One day, I promise you we will leave this wretched cursed place and once again venture into the Living Realm where we can finally gain freedom." he clenched his fist. "Trust only in yourselves, and The Horn, my daughters."

"Why can't we go out often and adventure like the rest of our unnies and orabonis?" Han Ri whined. "They get to go whenever they like." she huffed out air while looking at her nails.

"Your brothers and sisters are hundred years older than the both of you, my little canary!" Mal Gu laughed upon hearing his youngest daughter's childish complaints that somehow managed to entertain him whenever she did whine. He just cherished his children dearly. He then rose up from his seat, walking to Han Ri as he caressed her cheek lovingly. "They are matured enough to do dangerous missions on their own, and they are doing dutiful honor for The Horn, and in time, you will too." he poked on her nose, causing the girl to scrunch it as she smiled, revealing her deep dimple. Mal Gu excused himself, leaving the two girls as he headed for another place whatever place there was in the Outer Realm.

It was only Han Ri and Jeong Yeon left, and the two immediately looked at each other, purely coincidental, surprised by the perfect timing. Han Ri looked at Jeong Yeon because she had a plan in her mind, and Jeong Yeon looked at Han Ri because she knew she was up to something no good.

"Don't you say it." Jeong Yeon shook her head, sternly and playfully threatening her younger sister. Han Ri smirked mischievously. "I know what you're up to, I know it, don't you dare, Han Ri." she glared ferociously.

"Oh, I dare indeed." the young girl victoriously nodded. "I feel so bored here! I wanna have at least a little bit of fresh air. See you in the Living Realm, unnie!" she stuck her tongue out as she ran away from the room. Jeong Yeon widened her eyes at her sister's sudden disappearance and quickly ran to give chase.

"Yah, come back here you little-" she moved her feet as fast as possible.
