"You didn't get the three girls?!" a tall and scary figure growled and clenched his fist in anger, almost rising up from his seat, but he failed so, as he was too tired to do so. He sighed deeply and returned to his throne, massaging his temple with his long and clawed fingers. It was The Lord, sitting lazily but still evoking this mysterious and dreadful sense of ominousness and fright. "They were just little girls, what made it so hard for you to even get them?" he groaned.
"Forgive us, my liege." Balmong kneeled in front of him, sincerely apologizing to the god they were worshipping. "We terribly couldn't be able to sense them. We had no knowledge of how such thing could happen." he expressed the truth. Silence enveloped the room, they could hear the wind whistling. Sarom and Maleom only looked at their master for a while before returning to lowering their heads, afraid of him.
"Those three girls are future vital members of The Horn. I sensed their potential, I sensed how powerful they can be if trained properly in the ways of my will." he clenched his fist while growling silently. "I have foreseen a future, my three apprentices. A group of new potential Black Knights rising and serving by my side, and you three might be able to teach them. The more Black Knights we have, the more unstoppable we will become." he chuckled evilly.
"I assure you, lord Mal Gu, we will try our best to get them. It does not matter if it takes us years, if it takes us centuries, what matters is that you have my word. We are the Black Knights, the most elite and effective apprentices trained by you yourself." Balmong stood up suddenly, bravely looking at his master's face, the bright symbol of The Horn on Mal Gu's face, shining almost as bright as the sun.
"See to that promise immediately, Balmong." Mal Gu stated while pointing at him. "I truly hope the reputation of the Black Knights is not overcompensated. I hope failure will not be the key word of your group, my dear apprentice." he breathed out. Balmong then breathed calmly and looked at him, and although he was wearing a mask, emotions could be conveyed through said mask just by his body gestures.
"I will not fail you, master." Balmong shook his head firmly.

"The purpose of this conversation has ended. Dismiss this meeting at once and return to your places." Mal Gu stated sternly, holding both armrests of his throne as he stood tall and strong menacingly, almost covering the moonlight that was shining behind him, almost showering the entire room with darkness, like the darkness he already was. The three Black Knights immediately looked at him and bowed.
"As you wish, master." they remarked in unison, standing up all at once as they fixed themselves, ready to leave the room. They then started walking to the gates before they were stopped by The Lord himself, causing all three of them to pause their track.
"And Sarom." Mal Gu called on the Black Knight, earning his disciple's attention.
"Yes, lord Mal Gu?" he looked up at him, because Mal Gu was much taller than them three, almost reaching three-quarter of the height of one polar bear standing upright with hind legs. The Lord gave him a soft sigh and smiled, visibly showing his razor sharp teeth, shaped like dangerous pieces of broken glass merged with his gums.
"I do hope it's a boy." Mal Gu chuckled, certain that Sarom had known what he meant. He was right when the Black Knight immediately nodded understandingly and chuckled back at him with a bow.
"Ah yes, thank you very much, my lord." Sarom expressed his gratitude.
"Go now, you have a wife to take care of and I have two spoiled daughters I have to pamper." he cooed them to immediately leave, exiting his throne as he walked down the small staircase one step at a time, paying attention to his dark crimson robe. They nodded again and proceeded to leave the room, the sounds of their clothes rustling and their deep footsteps fading until nothing else was heard, leaving Mal Gu alone in his throne room, except for his guards who were guarding the room in case something would happen.
