"The Black Knights are here." Jang Ra sighed while closing his eyes once he heard horses galloping behind him, soon stopping when the riders had laid eyes on the man. He took a deep breath, turning his back as he saw eight riders, all riding horses with strong armours, although two specific riders seemed different than the other six who looked generic and the same. These two must be the Black Knights. The two then got off their horses while petting them, and walked to the father like they knew him.

One of them carried a cleaver and wore a helmet with a huge hood on his head, while the other helmeted one carried a spear-like weapon with a club on its other end. They looked at him in amusement and scoffed.

"Myoui Jang Ra, one of our most effective and honored members of The Horn." the one with the cleaver stated, plunging his weapon to the ground deep. Jang Ra, the three girls' father, breathed calmly and looked at the Black Knight. "Such a pity you ended up as a traitor and deserted your own kind." he growled.

"Sarom, the heavy Knight." he chuckled and clenched his fists. "It is a welcomed surprise to see you here along with your attackers." he spoke nonchalantly. "And Maleom, the swift Knight. It's just the two of you today with your six attackers? I thought there were supposed to be three Black Knights, with one of them the powerful leader." he breathed out. Maleom, the other Black Knight, chuckled bitterly and scoffed at him.

"You would surely welcome our leader as well, wouldn't you?" Maleom tilted his head.

"We'll see." Jang Ra stated. Soon, they all heard the sound of wings flapping, huge wings. The sound became louder and louder until they spotted something flying to them. A dragon with a mysterious rider. The dragon soon landed on the ground and roared at Jang Ra, its roar almost deafening to the ears. The rider got off his dragon and gently petted it, the large creature responding to its master's petting with affection.

"Finally, we have encountered the traitor face to face." the figure spoke. It was the leader of the Black Knights, the person they previously spoke about. He pulled his large and incredibly sharp sword and traced it to the ground, slicing the leaves encountering it. "It wasn't easy, you know, tracking and sensing a powerful and unique Medium like you." he stated amusingly.

"After all, like you said, I was an effective member, oh mighty Balmong." he mocked the leader. Balmong, the first Black Knight to exist, chuckled bitterly and suddenly pointed his sword towards Jang Ra, threatening him.

"The Lord sent us here not specifically for you, wretch." he growled. "Your daughters, where are they?" he tilted his head, growing impatient with the man's calmness.

"I left The Horn in peace, because I realized I wasn't doing what good people should, Balmong, you should understand that. I never told The Lord I would give my daughters." Jang Ra clenched his fists. "Leave us be, we seek no conflict." When he said that, Balmong scoffed in disbelief, and his fellow Black Knights along with his six attackers laughed evilly at his statement.

"Peace? Peace?? There is no such thing as peace in a world as cruel as life itself." Balmong growled. "Tell me where your daughters are, and The Horn will respectfully spare your life, even if it has no meaning at all." he breathed out. Jang Ra had made his decision clear, he then stood still and stood strong, looking at them emotionlessly.

"I would never sell out my precious angels for vile creatures like you." he growled.

"So be it. You chose your own fate." Balmong declared and grabbed his sword as he stabbed Jang Ra in the chest, the man groaning in pain as he stumbled back from the attack, blood exiting his mouth. Mi Na and her sisters widened their eyes and gasped as tears flooded their eyes, shocked, witnessing their father getting killed in front of them. Balmong chuckled and moved his face closer to Jang Ra's ear. "Soon enough, your daughters will pledge fealty to The Horn, to The Lord." he whispered and harshly pulled out the sword, watching as Jang Ra fall to the ground, soon disintegrating to dust. "Such a waste." he scoffed.
