44: Terror Of The Black Knights

Previously...

Mi Na arrived with the sword of Ji An and threw it to the ground in front of Mal Gu's feet. She then kneeled before him, followed by Ji Won and the other Black Knights, with Jeong Yeon standing just beside them and bowing at her father. Mal Gu chuckled in pride, grabbing the bloody sword as he eyed at its shiny blade reflecting the light of his eye. Mi Na stood up again as so did the Black Knights and she smiled confidently at the demon, definitely proud of her accomplishment.

"Song Ji An is dead, Gariya is nothing but ruins now. The world is closer to being yours to rule, Lord Mal Gu." Mi Na stated  firmly.

"Finally, the great kingdoms are eradicated. Everything will be much easier from now on thanks to your exceptional work, my Black Knights." Mal Gu grinned and levitated Ji An's sword on air, watching as the weapon disintegrated into dust with his magic, and the Black Knights only watched in awe. "Even though the war is over, and our enemies are easily outmatched now, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be free of duty. There are still other smaller kingdoms you need to conquer, and traitors you need to bring justice to. The fate of the world lies in our hands, my apprentices."

"Very well then, my lord." Ji Won bowed and swung her sword around delicately before slowly but also smoothly sliding it into her leather scabbard. "We will perfect this world like no one will ever do."

"I know you will." Mal Gu chuckled and went back to sit on his big throne, his fingers tapping on the stone armrest while also resting his face against the other hand. "Dismiss then."

"As you wish, Lord Mal Gu." the Black Knights stood up and nodded. They then followed Mi Na into their own room, while Ji Won somehow separated from them and joined Jeong Yeon who was holding her hand instead. Mal Gu watched the two girls in amusement and let out a small chuckle.

"My daughter found her love at last?" the demon shook his head in disbelief, but also happy with it. However, he was saddened by the fact that Jeong Yeon was the only child from his children to have found a lover, and he wished Han Ri would have too. Nonetheless, he sighed and resumed resting himself on his throne. He had to focus on his goal for now, he should not let his emotions take over him, or else it would all go downhill terribly.

"Run for your lives! Run as fast as you can, the Black Knights are here! The Black Knights are her-"

SLASHHH

Blood and peril were everywhere. Chaos and ruins clouded the small kingdom as no peace nor even tranquility was able to be found everywhere except destruction. The citizens made run for their lives, but found themselves too late as they felt the destructive blades sprung towards their flesh, blades wielded none other by the deadly Black Knights. Soldiers tried their best to defend the near-dying kingdom, laying down their lives as they swung their swords and thrusted their spears, but yet again they were rewarded with nothing but imminent failures.

"Show them all mercy, show them all our generosity for bringing harmony to this land!" Myoui Mi Na, the Scarlet Hawk, roared with a sarcastic disturbing chuckle and resumed her game in stabbing countless imperial soldiers' chests, tossing the bodies to the ground harshly as she moved on to her next vulnerable victims. She turned to her back to sight on ten soldiers throwing spears to her. Smirking deviously, Mi Na stopped the spears from moving with her magic and turned the weapons around, startling the soldiers in the process. They quickly turned their direction and were about to escape before the Scarlet Hawk quickly magically threw the spears to the soldiers, impaling them on the chests both from front and from behind.
