37: The New Black Knights

Mi Na stood silently for a while, clenching her fists hard because she was too confused whether or not to agree to Mal Gu's idea. She had always opted to take revenge and destroy The Horn, but now, she didn't know why, she kind of understood the motivations. The world was indeed a cruel place, and people like her were often mistreated and abused mercilessly. She knew she couldn't let that happen no matter what. Even if it would terribly mean doing horrifying works and conducting mass slaughter, perhaps....perhaps she knew it would be for the better of the world. In her mind, Gariya was a perfect example of how humans really were. Bright and kind on the outside, but once everything went too much in their wishes, they would show their true sides, they would show their true personalities and go like untamable monsters.

"We will create a world where we can live freely, love freely, and most of all, a world.....where people like us are accepted with our powers instead of being cast aside." Mal Gu whispered. "Look at this world, even being different results in imminent death. In the world we will create, we won't have to worry about that anymore." he smiled.

Suddenly, Ji Won kneeled down before Mal Gu, and then so did Soo Hye, and then followed by Tae Han, then Goo Ong, then Heung Mol, and lastly, Baek Sil too joined his friends as the warriors kneeled down before who seemed to be their new master, their new lord. Mi Na raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"We will serve you well and abide by your vision," Ji Won stated confidently and looked up at The Lord, "Lord Mal Gu."

"Excellent" Mal Gu chuckled and clapped his hands lightly before approaching Mi Na, brushing some strands of hair off her forehead. "The people you've lost, the ones you loved, we will make their deaths not in vain, Myoui Mi Na, we will not fail those who had defended us and died for us." he held her shoulders, smiling softly. Soon after, Mi Na had finally give in to her darkness, and so she nodded to the demon, kneeling down before him in the middle of the six other warriors as she called him her new master.

"We will bring order and stability to the new world we will make, Lord Mal Gu." Mi Na stated firmly. Mal Gu nodded proudly, and soon he lifted his hand in the air as purple magic began going out of his hand, entering the warriors' bodies as their veins turned purplish all of a sudden, causing them to fall on their knees as they all groaned, feeling the immense amount of power going through them.

"I have given you a portion of power, and the power I gave you will suit you all based on your remarkable skills, you have now become my ferocious warriors no one will ever stop, my new disciples." Mal Gu chuckled. After a while, they all seemed to finally calm down, and the purplish color on their veins had faded into nothingness. "Then henceforth, you shall all be known as....the Black Knights. Kim Tae Han, the Black Wolf, Dae. Go Soo Hye, the Black Cat, Goy. Gye Heung Mol, the Black Serpent, Baem. Lee Goo Ong, the Black Tiger, Hol. Kang Baek Sil, the Black Bear, Gom. Myoui Ji Won, the Bla-"

"I would prefer, the Crimson Eagle, Lord Mal Gu." Ji Won interrupted, surprising Mal Gu who then smiled with her suggestion.

"Very well then, Myoui Ji Won, the Crimson Eagle, Suli. And lastly, Myoui Mi Na?"

As the demon asked his question, Mi Na looked up at him, her eyes fiery and her soul now finally replaced with darkness and her own ideology of a new better world. It's time to leave everything behind and focus on a new world where humans wouldn't have to be parasites anymore.
