"...Lord Mal Gu gave me a purpose, he gave me a will to live and fight further for my life." Mi Na bit her lip.
"He may have given you that, but what has he taken from you as the cost, little one?" Ganmeu asked her. "Your suffering, or your morality? What you had always hated, or what you had always admired?"
Mi Na pursed her lips in silence, contemplating with her decision since what the Elder said had left her mind completely puzzled. Perhaps he did have a point on what he had stated.
"I have lived in this very world I helped create for eons and eons uncountable, child. I watched as kingdoms rose and fell, as people shone and darkened. Whatever you want to decide, you decide. My work as an Elder is to only watch over the world and let people choose and write their own destiny. I exist solely by that principle." the snake Elder spoke wisely and looked at Mi Na with curious yet also firm eyes. The Scarlet Hawk could see the reflection of her current self mirrored on the Elder's yellow eyes. "What is your purpose, child?"
"I...I don't really know..." Mi Na gulped.
"Look into the water." Ganmeu instructed, and so the Scarlet Hawk did, approaching Lake Boonku closer as she looked at the reflection of the water, it reflected her face for a while until it began showing visions of gruesome wars being fought by many sides for ages and ages. Deaths and chaos lied everywhere around the world since the beginning of time even until now. Humans were murdering one another, mutilating one another, enslaving one another. Then when the Mediums arrived, they did the same to them too, treating them as inferior beings compared to themselves who they deemed as superior ones.
Mi Na clenched her fists, growing uneasy from the Elder's question and also the visions on the lake since she herself was unsure of her purpose. Awhile ago she was sure it was to bring peace and security to the world, which was by destroying all humans no matter what, but then she began to question, was this was her loved ones would have wanted? Was this what Momo, Jang Ra and Han Sou would have wanted. She was contemplating, puzzled, stuck. However, she then realized why her loved ones died. They died because of her, they died because she hadn't realized earlier that the true meaning of a better world was a world with no humans. Had she realized such reality, had she realized such truth earlier, then they would have been alive.
So Myoui Mi Na was sure, this was what they would have wanted even if they never told her.
"Yes, yes I have a purpose." the Scarlet Hawk looked up at Ganmeu who hummed at her amusedly. "I am Myoui Mi Na the Scarlet Hawk, daughter of Myoui Jang Ra, and I will bring eternal peace and harmony to this ruined world by eradicating all humans. That is my purpose." she stated firmly and put on her helmet, signifying that she had made her decision and that she wouldn't go back anymore. She then looked at Ganmeu one last time before she turned back to walk out of the cave, and the Elder could only look at the Scarlet Hawk as she disappeared.
"Then the choice lies in your hands, Myoui Mi Na."

Mi Na exited the deep cave at last, letting out a small pant as she looked up at the clear view of the afternoon sky just above her presence. Small birds migrating from one region to another, bugs flying around her making buzzing noises and small weasels chasing rabbits in the tall grass. The Scarlet Hawk took a deep breath and exhaled softly, her tensed clenched hands relaxing her stiff fingers. She had said her purpose was clear already, to help make a difference to the world.
