(Cute and simple with a little surprise enjoy 😊)

"Hey, thanks for stopping Mr Bus driver, you're the best!"

"No problem kid."

The teen payed and walked onto the near empty bus, finding a seat near the back where he could put his legs up. He had been on a late shift and had nearly missed the bus again. He shouted for the driver to stop as he ran down the street, waving his arms like a madman. Luckily the driver had become used to seeing this at least twice a week and so pulled to a stop whilst laughing at the teen's antics.

As Wei Ying sat down he noticed there was another guy sitting across from him with his earphones in. He was a mere seat away yet he could hear the music clearly: it sounded like acoustic. Nice. As Wei Ying sat a few seats away the exhaustion flooded into him and he leaned his head onto the back of the seat and let out a long yawn.

This was his third late shift at the restaurant- which he worked at to pay his rent for Uni- this week and it was getting to him. Adding to the fact that finals were just around the corner, he barely had time to sleep. Each day he woke up with his friend Jiang Cheng, who was his roommate, and they'd head to Uni for the day. Then around four times a week they would part ways after classes and go to their respected jobs. Most evenings they either went straight to sleep or had simple noodles to temporarily fill their stomachs.

Back on the bus, the soft rain outside alongside the music echoing through the man's earbuds, Wei Ying's eyes began to droop. As his body felt more achy and numb and heavy, his vision blurred and his mind went blank. In the space of a few minutes he was out cold, in deep sleep...

And leaning on the shoulder of the stranger. The male looked down at the guy on his shoulder in confusion and slight annoyance. However, as he saw the evident exhaustion- from his slightly dark under eyes and the fact he stumbled up the bus- he didn't wake him and instead payed attention to the outside world, unconsciously letting out a small yawn instead.

Lan Zhan had just been to a lecture that ran over by three hours all because the teacher made them complete the experiment and write up their results. He watched as the clock ticked away and the evening flew by. When they had finally finished and the lecturer let them leave, Lan Zhan was mentally and physically drained from the 7 hour class and the fact he had eaten nothing all day. His stomach rumbled slightly and his ears turned pink as the boy's eyes scrunched up as he moved to a better position.

The world outside floated slowly by and the buildings seemed to blur into one huge wave of brick and glass. The harsh streetlights glared on the windows of the bus, making Lan Zhan close his eyes in retaliation. Big mistake. Before he knew it, the welcoming darkness grew bigger and bigger until it consumed him in sleep...

The bus juddered to a halt and the boy's eyes flung open. Wei Ying let out a shout as he held his hands out in front of him to prevent his head colliding with the seat in front of him. Lan Zhan grabbed onto the handle dangling above and shook his head to wave up and remove the hazy blurs from his vision.

"Last stop!" the bus driver announced and the remaining passengers slowly got up and exited the bus, giving nods of thanks to the bus driver.

Wei Ying hauled his bag up before standing up and rushing to the front of the bus. But before he reached the front he screeched to a halt and made his way back to the stranger.

"Wrong stop too?"

"Hm."

"Come on then."

Wei Ying hauled Lan Zhan up by his hand and dragged him to the front of the bus. He tapped against the visor to get the driver's attention. When the man looked up from his work, his looked surprised at who he saw.
