"Whoa!"
"Look at him!"
"His eyes!"
"He's so tall!"
"He must be a freshman!"
A group of teenage girls all stood huddled by their lockers and began whispering at the handsome teenager that was walking down the corridor, an unfamiliar face amongst the crowd. They were above average height and had an aura that drew you in. He could hear the girls whispering about him even from the entrance and gave them a quick glance and a wink as he passed, smirking to himself as he watched one of the girls blush and almost faint. His violet eyes gleamed from the attention as he walked throughout the school, heading towards his classroom.
"No way!"
"Another newbie!"
"Look at him!"
"His eyes!"
"His complexion!"
A male appeared from the other end of the corridor. His complexion was pale and eyes a violent red; his expression was stoic and stiff as he walked down the corridor, not bothering to even glance at the people who were whispering about him. His presence made some people's skin crawl and swiftly move out of his way, fearful of what would happen if they didn't. The male continued to walk towards his classroom when a pair of violet eyes that were piercing right at him caught his attention. He didn't return the gesture and continued on, their shoulders brushing ever so slightly causing a wave of energy to pass through the room.
The girls in the corridor let out slight gasps yet the two boys remained indifferent, one smirking and one blank. They disappeared around the opposite ends of the corridor at the same time and a collective sigh of relief ran through the students.
"Who are they?" one of the girls asked as she continued to get her books out of her locker; they were old, heavy, and worn down yet had exquisite embellishments all over.
"They have to be in the A-Class. Did you see their auras?" another asked.
"You know we can't, but, their energy was very intense."
"Yeah, I just hope I don't get on the wrong side of either of them."
The bell rang loud and clear throughout the school and everyone entered their classrooms, getting out books and equipment that they would need for the next two hours. In one classroom, large cauldrons were set out on grand stone tables; in another were torchers of fire, basins of water and small flowers and plants. On the lower floor, a giant gym was slowly filled with students in loose and sporty clothes, ready to begin their lesson. Half of them looked timid and afraid yet the other half were eager and excited to show what they were made of.
"Alright, settle down!"
A woman emerged from the storeroom of the gym and made her way over, blowing her whistle to stop the raucous that some of the students were making. She had a slim figure and tanned skin causing one of the boys to wolf-whistle at her. Her eyes narrowed in on the suspect and she made her way over slowly before lashing her hand out and sending the boy to the floor, one arm twisted dangerously behind his back.
"What is your name?" she demanded.
"Su She, ma'am."
"Did no-one teach you respect at your pack, dog?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Then why do you think that was acceptable behaviour?"
"I- I didn't think."
"Clearly." she spat before getting up and returning to the front of the group, all menace gone but they knew she was not to be taken lightly. "Now, my name is Madame Yu and you will address me as such. I am here to teach you how to defend yourself from rogues and to build up character. These classes will be tough but you signed up for them. Well, either you or your parents." she added, glancing over to the shaking students.
