3rd PoV

Val and Jeremy was caught by the white masked soldiers ambush. They were the only ones left when the white soldier closed in, they manage to slip everyone out of the white soldiers ambush without getting caught. Val was surprised when the soldiers aren't as hostile to her than Jeremy who has been pinned down in the ground hard. "Motherfucker! It's our first meeting and your this harsh towards me. Do you punks know who i am?" Jeremy hissed when his face been buried to the ground by one of the soldiers. One  of the soldier kicked Jeremy in the stomach. "Shut your mouth." The soldier said and was about to kick Jeremy again when Val jumped in. Val face was stern while looking at the soldier infront. The soldier sigh before ordering the one who caught her to get her out of the way. She glared at the soldier who seems to be in command on this squad. "Try kicking him again, see what happens." She threaten before letting herself get taken away. She winked at Jeremy who's looking at her weirdly. "Take him away. Sir Vayne will be furios to us if he knew what happened." The soldier in command said.

Val grins. She was right, they are treating her as if she's a valuable piece. Even the shackles on her hand is light and easy to move around. Unlike Jeremy who's dragging a heavy looking shackles while being dragged by two of the white soldiers. They must be getting revenge lowkey because of what happened earlier. She thought, she felt sorry for Jeremy but he smiled when he caught her looking.

She sigh in relief and looked at the soldier in command. "Where are you taking us?" She asked coldly. The soldier looked at her. "Home." He answered. Home? What does he mean, home? She thought of confusion. "Home? Are you taking us outside the university?" The soldier stopped in his feet. "No. This grounds was originally your home but someone helped you escaped." He said meaningfully. He then ordered one of his subordinates to silence Val. "Enough with the questions, gag her up. I don't want a single word coming out from her before we get to the lab." He said in a firm tone.

But even though Val was gagged up her flowing thoughts can't be stopped. What does he mean this was originally my home? Who really am I?

Her thoughts only stopped when they stop infront of the headmaster office. They dragged them inside, the inside was spacious very different from the principal office. If they estimated the space here the principal office is only half in size. "This is a pretty big room for a headmaster office." Jeremy commented while looking around. He was kicked in the guts after he talked. "Shut up." One of the guarding soldier hissed. The commander of the white soldiers walked up into the table and after a while something click and the ground their standing started to shake. Right beside them an underground passage was opened in the center of the room. As expected, this was not an ordinary room after all. Calles and Raze were right on the spot, Val thought. It was pretty suspicious that they rarely see the headmaster of the university when the principal is all showy and stuff.

Just as when they thought they would be dragged underground, the commander of the white soldier stopped the group that was holding Val. "She's not going to the dungeon. Only him." He said then looked at Jeremy. The soldiers shouted in response before guiding Jeremy underground who's struggling because  he was getting separated from Val. "No! Where are you guys planning to take her, you bastards?!" He shouted but was instantly silence when one of the soldier pressed a vital point. When they were out of sight the ground instantly closed before their eyes.

The commander then walked into the painting inside the room. It was the only painting inside. Beside the painting he touch something that changed the painting size. It became small, Val was amazed on what happened. How the hell did that happened? She asked in confusion. Not that they can really hear her and if they do only groans and moans, maybe. He then walked towards the table again and looks like inserted the small painting somewhere. She gaped in awe when she saw the painting being put back by itself at the same sound of something opening. A small opening came into their view, it was located at the furthest corner of the room. They then dragged her in front of the opening, when they entered inside, she felt something scraped their bodies. She felt it electrify her slightly and looks like the commander noticed her. "Looks like you felt the barrier. You really are the missing piece, Master was looking for." He said that made Val confused. "Oh don't worry. You'll meet them soon." He added. After that they were silent the whole way. It was dark inside, it felt like an endless dark hallway. After an half of hour walking they finally saw a light ahead the long hallway.

Because of unknown reason Val felt weak. It feels like her energy has been depleted when he step foot inside the barrier the commander was saying. It felt like an black hole sucking their life force out of their body, making them weak and dizzy. When they reached the light, Val squint her eyes because of the blinding light inside, when her eyes got the hang of the light inside she looked around. Nobody can expect that a dark sucking energy hallway have a place like this at the end. It was insanely spacious than the room outside! And on top of that there were suspicious looking capsule shaped tubes scattered around the room. She can't see well what's inside because of the dizziness her feeling.

Distracted by the capsules she didn't heard the footstep of someone coming straight into their direction. She was startled when a woman close up to her face. She backed up a little from the woman who have a gentle smile on her face. "Is this Valeriana Thompson from Zero's group?" She asked the commander of the soldier. The soldier saluted before answering. "Yes, Prof. Ellen. The master ordered me to bring her to you and said they will be here later, they're just cleaning up outside." He reported. The woman called Prof. Ellen by the commander smiled gently at Val. Val vision was getting blurry all of a sudden. She was about to collapsed on the ground when Prof. Ellen caught her in her arms. "Looks like the dark abyss got through her. She needs to rest for a while or else the dark gaeze won't subdue." She said worriedly. "Didn't I told you Gai to cast shield to someone new to the dark abyss? The dark abyss is mysterious and deadly, it will attack the weakest origin in the group walking inside it and destroy it completely." She scolded Gai the commander of the white soldiers.

"We're sorry Prof. Ellen we'll be careful next time." Gai said in apologetic manner. Val looked up to the woman who caught her in her arms. Prof. Ellen looked down at Val and worried was visible in her face. "Are you alright, young lady?" She asked. Even though she's feeling weak, she manage to nod in response. "J-Just a l-little b-bit d-dizzy." She said honestly. "You should rest for now, young lady. I scolded them for you. I'll watch over you while you replenish your energy." Prof. Ellen said softly. For some unknown reason Val nodded in response, she feels like she's safe with her around. She felt secured and happy, she feel a warmth feeling. What am I feeling? Why do I feel like I know this person? She asked in confusion before drifting to sleep in Prof. Ellen arms.
