Third PoV

"Are you sure your alright, Kenji?" Tanong ni Val kay Kenji na hawak hawak ang balikat nito na mukhang nabali kanina dahil kay Kai. Kenji nodded and patted her head. "I'm fine little miss. I few broken bones cannot kill me." Val sigh. He's a tough cookie alright, even after being smashed to ground by a Kai sei he still insist on tagging along with her. "Uhm... I'm sorry if these is rude for me to ask, but are you a Code as well?" Kenji was slightly taken a back from Val's straightforward question. "Hmm. I am and Kai also, he's my brother after all. My power or sei is called cursed eyes, anyone who look at my eyes will be put in a illusion and die, but you, you stand up to me eye to eye, you're an exception I guess. Kai sei is called the gravity manipulator, basically he can manipulate gravity into his own will, just like you saw earlier." Kenji explained.

"Wait so your part of the first generation Codes?" Kenji laughed. "Nope. We're half breeds. Our sei is just second rate compared to a original Code, their sei is much powerful than ours." Their conversation was interrupted when a load explosion shook the ground. Kenji opened the door and slightly pushed Val inside. "Hurry up and get inside. It's dangerous for you to be outside, it may be a uncontrolled Code rampaging." Because of the urgency Val nodded and obediently get inside the room. Kenji then locked the door from the outside and ran towards the commotion. Kenji stopped in front of the raging fire near the entrance of the lab. Inside the fire a silhouette was seen, Kenji slightly trembled from the intense killing intent the silhouette giving out. My body is screaming danger just from this guy silhouette. Who the hell is this guy?

Kenji took a step back when he felt danger coming into his direction. He jumped to the side to dodge a fast approaching bullet that was shot inside the fire. "Who the hell are you?! How did you get pass through the dark abyss?!" Pasigaw na tanong ni Kenji sa pigura ng lalaki na nasa loob ng apoy. "Oh me? I'm the grim reaper and I'm here to collect your sinful souls." The man inside the fire step out with a dangerous expression and in a flash he was in front of Kenji. Kenji eyes widen when he saw the mans face. "Z-Zero." Zero flash a grin before punching Kenji out of his way. Kenji flew into the wall because of the heavy impact of Zero punch. He vomited blood when he hit the ground. Pinilit tumayo ni Kenji para makita kung tama ba ang pagkakakita niya. Kenji chuckled coldy when he confirms the man is really Zero. The first generation Commander who ran away from the lab together with Kenji surviving daughter. "How bold of you to come here, Zero." Kenji coldly said and toughened his body. "I guess your age are affecting your combat prowess Professor Takahashi. You're already vomiting blood with just one punch from me." Zero taunt. Kenji chuckled and took out a strengthening pill out of his pocket. After swallowing the pill his injuries earlier disappeared like it was not there before. Zero was quite amazed at the sight. Oh, they perfected the strengthening pill, interesting. "I guess I could play with you professor before facing your rotten boss." Nag inat inat muna si Kenji bago ngisian si Zero. "Do your worst, kiddo. I'm not gonna hold back at you." Kenji eyes changed color, it was now crimson red, a sign that he activated his sei. "I'm not stupid to hold back at you, Professor." Zero grinned before attacking Kenji.

He used his speed to caught Kenji off guard but Kenji was in frenzy because of the power up the strengthening pill gave him. Zero cursed when he hit a wall and not Kenji. Zero was taken a back when his surrounding changed. He already set up an illusion trap, impressive. "Not bad Professor. I'm guessing if I was caught in this trap before I might not get out, too bad I'm much stronger now." He simply thrust his fist in front and the illusion shattered like a fragile glass. Kenji expression grim when he saw Zero getting out of his illusion with ease. This kid sei strength is terrifying. He wields the strongest sei recorded in this world, second only to the twins. Zero wields the sei called the Emperor. "I see you, you can control the emperor with ease now, Zero." Kenji commented to distract Zero. He felt Kai sei earlier when Zero broked out of his illusion. I must stall time before Kai gets here. "Stalling time for your twin? I don't think so, Professor." Zero stop Kenji at his feet and appeared in front of him. "Zeyn!" A gun appeared in Zero hands. He pointed the tip of the gun in Kenji forehead. "Let me send you to the abyss, Professor." Before Zero can pull the trigger Zeyn flew out his hand and Kenji took that opportunity to activate his illusion on Zero.

The force that was keeping him in his feet was gone and he instantly ran to a safe distance. He can use teleportation now, what a pain in the ass. He even got a hold of Zeyn, a gun that can send someone to the abyss with its bullets.

"Are you alright, Kenji?!" Nilingon naman ni Kenji si Kai na patakbong palapit sa kanya. "You're fucking late! I was almost sent to the abyss to suffer!" He growled at Kai. "Fuck you! You can't even thank your life savor properly? What an ass." Kai spit back. Napatingin naman ito kay Zero na nakatayo lamang. His eyes was lifeless a sign that his still in the illusion Kenji set. "Ray and Samantha are on their way. We must hold the Emperor here before they get here. Think we could do it?" Kai asked. Hindi naman umimik si Kenji. Kumunot ang noo ni Kai. "Wait don't tell me your planning to take their seal off." Nag iba naman ang ekspresyon ng mukha ni Kai at agad na inatake si Kenji. Ngunit huli na dahil na unahan na siya ni Kenji, Kai was slowly dragged inside the illusion trap that Kenji set before. "Fuck Kenji! Stop! If you take off their seal you'll vanish!" Kai tried to struggle out of the illusion but Kenji illusion was a little bit stronger than usual because of the pill. "It's too late. Zero already took off his seal with his own will." Ani Kenji. Napatingin naman si Kai kay Zero at nakitang umiilaw ang kwintas na nasa leeg nito. The ring that was the pendant of the necklace glowed brightly that it was blinding. A shattering was heard and the light faded, Zero was now wearing the ring in his finger. Bumalik naman sa sa reyalidad si Zero at napatingin sa daliri niya kung nasaan ang sing sing. My seal is off. Agad naman siya napatingin kay Kenji na nakahandusay na sa lapag. He teleported beside Kenji and supported the professor. "Why did you forcefully make me break my seal, Professor?" Zero asked, confused by the Professor motive. The seal was placed by Professor Samantha the Professor in charge of this rotten lab. The seal purpose was to restrain the strenght of my sei and Two. We we're forcefully bound together so they could seal our sei at the same time, and if I'm not mistaken Professor Kenji voluntarily used his life source to initiate the seal. And if one of the seal was broken he would lose half of his life and if both seals were broken then he would vanish. "I made a promise. So, go get her and help her break her seal too. You two suffered and sacrifice enough. It's my time to protect you two." Kenji said, enough for Zero to hear. Zero carefully placed Kenji behind a pillar before running toward the direction Kenji instructed.
