Third PoV

"Oh, I'm surprised you managed to block it." Gate said in amusement. Von smirked. "This is nothing." Gate noticed the trembling on Von's hand. Von barely managed to stop Gate attack. The dagger was only a inch into his face he could feel the cold metal piercing through his forehead. "I commend your strong will but it's my win." Gate said before Von stumbled back. Von mouth gaped open when he felt a sting of pain in abdominal. A tip of an arrow was piercing through it. He look up at Gate who drop his mask on the ground and stomp on it, breaking it into pieces. Gate turned his back on Von who's still dazed on what happened. "Atone for your sins, Von. I'm not that kind of a person to do this to anyone. Consider yourself lucky." He said before leaving Von laying into ground. Before Gate could even disappear Von opened his mouth.  "I have done a grieve crime and I could never atone enough for it." He said in a low voice. "They said you were smart but I guess that was a fluke." Gate said. Von chuckled and covered his eyes. "Hey you bastard. Could I ask for a favor from you?" Gate look back at Von. "You're really thick skinned aren't you?" Von just chuckled. "If I say kill me, will you do it?" Von asked in a low voice. Gate was taken aback at his question. "What's with the question you cheeky bastard?" Von smiled and sit up. "It's about time they started." He said and look up. Gate look at Von weirdly. "Hey what-," Gate stopped when he saw Von suddenly disappeared. He look around and saw no sight of him. He clenched his fist when he heard a voice in the air.

'I'm expecting your cooperation, Gate.'

"That bastard really is an idiot." He scoffed before running towards the enemies. While the Navarro brothers was fighting the others was standing still especially the group. Zylo who locked his attention towards Gate and Von fight was trembling at what he saw. Not from fear but from anger that was rising deep within from his body. "Y-You're kidding me right?" Calles who saw the whole thing look at Zylo who was already being clouded by his anger. "Zylo! Snap out of it!" She shouted but Zylo didn't even flinch or move from his position. Calles rise her hand and slapped Zylo hard even causing his face to turn. Zylo who took the damage from Calles slap snap back at her. Calles sigh in relief when she saw life in his eyes again. "It hurts." He mumbled while caressing his numb cheecks. "It was meant to hurt! You almost went hulk when you saw Faze down there! I can't even imagine you'll let the poor guy live when you manage to caught him." Zylo clenched his fist in anger when he remember what happened.

"He's suspicious knowledge about this school when it was only our first time stepping in it was enough proof to lynch him. Why didn't I even notice it?" Calles worriedly look at Zylo. "I know I'm not in the place to say this because I only recently got to know you guys better but don't you think he have a reason to do this? I know betraying the people who trusted you is underhanded and unacceptable but won't you want to hear his explanation?" Calles said that made Zylo anger ease a bit. "You may be right but because of him that we're suffering like this. Ha, I'm not even gonna be shocked when he say to us that it was all part of his plan on the first place." He said before standing up. He picked up the sniper rifle. "We should get going. The battle is already close range combat, even if we stay here and take out some enemies it wouldn't be enough help. We might even hit one of ours, I can't risked that fact." Calles took a deep breathe before standing up and following Zylo.

On the other hand the people below didn't get a chance to see the fight clearly. Even the reveal of the face of the traitor, they could only get a glimpse of it. "Aver, you were the closes at that battle. Did you see anything?" Night asked when Aver retreated back with Gate command. Aver shook his head. "I didn't get to see it clearly. I was busy saving my life." He said. Night continued to ask the people who was retreating back if they saw the traitor's face but none of them saw it clearly. Lasley was the last one to retreat back, she was place as a scout inside the laboratory with the help of the commotion outside she easily infiltrared the building. "The scout is back. We should start our counter attack now. I heard Ms. Thompson left a plan before they were held captive. Can someone tell me what it is?" Nadiel ask and Zylo silently walk in front and explained everything Val manage to came up. Nadiel was a bit amused at what he heard.

'She was expecting the betrayal and manage to came up with a countermeasure. A scary women indeed.'

"I can't even revise anything from it. Everything fits perfectly to Ms. Thompson assumptions. We could only drag this fight longer to help her start it. I think everyone can do it right?" Nadiel look around. The group was still conflicted to who was the person Gate manage to reveal but they all smile in determination. "We would do anything to help. I know I'm pretty useless around this kind of situation and I'm always in danger but I'll give my all." Uydr said, slightly embarrassed from the fact he was captured and save by others. Aver punched Uydr. "Don't even start it, Ocampo. Just like Val always say we're a team and she'll give us an earful if we left you behind so don't sweat it." After Aver saying that the others agreed in unison. Lisa who was silently sitting in the corner was pulled in front by Raze. "Stop sulking and get into the fun." He said before lightly pushing her forward. Lisa bow her head down in embarrassment when all of the attention was suddenly turned to her. "I-uhm-" Before she could even say I word Night chuckled cutting her off. Now everyone's attention was turned to Night. "Ah! Sorry sorry! I just can't help myself laughing at Melissa embarrassed face." He said apologetically. Lisa snapped at Night and threw a kick at his direction. Her foot stopped mid way at Night's treasure. Night swallowed hard and nervously look at Lisa. Lisa glared at Night before putting her feat down, Night on the other hand lost all of his leg strength and stumbled down. Now Night was the center of tease from the group because of what happened. Nadiel who was watching them smiled. "He really found interesting people, right Gate?" He turned to Gate who was silently looking at the battlefield. "They're all interesting people. Especially the one who set all of them up. Coming up with that absurd plan and risking it all. You could really tell the influence of Zero from her actions." He said. Nadiel chuckled in agreement. "Well we're all desperate here aren't we?" Gate look away from Nadiel and silently agreed. 'I guess I kinda get why he betrayed them. There's no hero without a villin they say.' Gate look back at the battle going on outside, he closed his eyes as he could clearly hear the metals clashing at each other, the loud noise when a gun was shoot and the barbaric sound the people make while fighting. He thought to himself. 'All of this noises makes it feel like a war song.' Gate opened his eyes when a loud explosion shook the ground. "Ah, I guess that's the  final beat before the ending."
