Hello everyone. Sorry about the late update. It's my birthday today so I decided to give you guys a present. Here's the update you're waiting for!

'When will she wake up?'

'She'll wake up soon. Don't be impatient. Didn't Prof. Sam killed the failure already?'

Voices. I hear them nearby but what did they say? Killed? Failure?

'I heard the people below all died including Prof. Kenji Takahashi and Prof. Kai Takahashi.'

'What a loss. They choose the wrong side in this war, it's such a shame that I would not be able to see that twin anymore.'

No! I'm hearing things right? Why would Kenji and Kai die?!

'Unlike you I'm relived those two died. Especially Prof. Kai, he's too much of a smartass.'

'Oi watch your mouth. Prof. Kellen might hear you.'

'What are you afraid of? If she loved Prof. Kenji she would side with them but she turned her back at him and joined our side instead.'

I have to wake up! Come on! Open your eyes Valeriana!

As I slowly opened my eyes I noticed that I can't move and something was strangling my neck. As I regained my consciousness completely I was taken aback when I noticed I'm inside a capsule I saw when I entered the labratory! I noticed that the thing strangling in my neck was a tube for oxygen to flow in to keep me breathing inside the capsule filled with slimy water I'm unknown of. The water was clear so I saw the two men in front of my capsule still talking with each other when they noticed I'm already awake they stopped and started to inspect me.

"Her breathing is normal. Such a feat for a test subject to endure that dangerous poison water." Said the man with a long black hair.

"Her body is more solidified and stable now. What is going on? Earlier she's already near death." The other man asked in confusion.

"Near death? What are you talking about Cory? She's perfectly fine and if she's near death earlier you should've told me! Do you want us to be the replacement after her death?"

"I wanted to see how much she can endure the poison of a abyss snake but I didn't expect her to recover. Not just that she's more healthier and better than before!" The one named Cory shouted in excitement.

"Back off, let me see that chart."

"What the hell is this? Cory! Explain this to me, now!"

The guy named Cory rushed over at his partner. His eyes widen on what he saw. "This is unbelievable. I'll go get Prof. Kellen here!" While they're panicking around, I was just watching them and after a while a familiar face came into my view.

She stood in front of me with blank face, not even a singlie expression can be seen on her face when she look at me. "What did you guys discovered?" She asked. Cory who called her out gave her the chart they were looking at earlier. Kellen dropped the chart and tightly closed her eyes. When she look back at me I can see tears on her eyes but she held it back. "Take good care of her. If we succeed on taking both of their Sei at the same time we would make history for ourselves." Both of them bow at Kellen who instantly turned her back and went away.

'What is going on? What did they saw that made them look at me like that?'

The one who's called Cory look back at her with a grin. "Aren't you happy? You're marked!"

I look back at him with a confuse stare. "Oh you can't speak right? Anyway we will take a good care of you so don't worry about a thing!" The other guy who's picking up the chart hit Cory with the chart in his head. "Stop stressing her out you idiot. Now we have a little bit of power because of her so every change that will happen on her body you will report it right away understood? We don't want to disappoint Prof. Kellen."

"Yes, yes, but isn't Prof. Kellen reaction earlier weird? She suddenly dropped the chart and closed her eyes I thought I would finally see her mad."

"Maybe she was shock by the fact that this girl was mark when she was on our jurisdiction. They never came in contact at each other, how could that little bastard mark her?"

"Why would you ask me that? Do you think I know the answer?" Cory said in a creep out way. The other guy sighted at Cory answer. He pulled the guy out of the room, when they got out the lights dim at the room.

I was left alone at the dark dim room with only the light of a monitor can be seen. I tried to look around but my movements were minumun because of the tube providing me oxygen. I can feel my skin heating up. I guess what they said about this water being a poison is true but why am I surviving this? Why am I even here? How I wish someone would come in here and explain everything going on right now.

As if God heed my plead the door for the room beeped and opened. My eyes widen when I saw the person coming in. It's Jeremy! How did he got out from the dungeon?! Jeremy look around and when he saw me inside a capsule he instantly made his way at me.

"Val, is that you?" I tried to nod my head to answer. "Are you okay? Why are you inside that capsule?" I slightly shook my head to answer. "Damn we can't talk like this. I'll get you out of there so we can escape together." He said before rummaging inside the room. He stop in the opened monitor and pushed something. Suddenly the wall surrounding the capsule disappeared and because my body was too weak my body dropped on the hard  floor. Jeremy took off the black cloak he was wearing earlier and wrapped it around my body. "You good Val? Bear with it for a while, their reinforcement will be soon coming we have to get out of here asap." I tried to move my lips to speak. "I...I-I'm f-fine. L...Let's g-go." Jeremy nodded and carried me on his back. He look left and right before running away while carrying me on his back.
