"No, we can't, I gotta just ignore it through tomorrow and through your visit."

"No, you don't have to. If it hurts bad we can go."

"No I'll be good I promise."

Luke looked at me, I smiled back at him and he laid back down.

"We aren't doing anything today, you're gonna rest and hopefully it goes away by tomorrow."

"It better be gone by tomorrow," I muttered. "Can you rub my stomach?"

"Yes of course."

I rolled onto my back and pulled my shirt up.

"Let's watch that robbery show you wanted to watch," Luke said passing me the remote.

I took it from him and looked through Netflix as he rubbed my stomach.

"I found it," I announced clicking on the show.

"Maybe you should study crime in college," Luke said watching the screen.

"I was thinking about that."

"I mean you're very interested in crime shows, so I'm guessing studying it would also be interesting for you."

"What do you think you'll study?"

"I was thinking I wanna be a therapist, obviously if I don't go pro in any sport I think I'd be a good therapist."

"You would be a great therapist," I smiled looking down at him.

"Yea but the goal is to go pro. I want to move us into a massive house."

"What kinda house?"

"Well, I'm hoping somewhere near the beach cause I know you love it there. But I wanna huge house, all 3 or 4 of our kids are gonna have their own bedrooms."

"Yea if I can even have kids."

"Why wouldn't you?"

"What if this cyst thing doesn't let me, would you leave me?"

I felt Luke's head turn to look up at me.

"Do you think I would?"

"I mean maybe you would."

"I would never, we can adopt kids. Or do one of those things where a different girl carries the kid."

"Yea I guess," my spirits were kinda getting crushed thinking about not being able to have kids.

"Don't think for a second I'd leave you, ever. That thought has never crossed my mind since we started hanging out."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm a million percent sure," he said going back to laying down.

We mainly watched Netflix for most of the day, Luke tried to make me food but I couldn't stomach anything.

"Dakota I'm worried it's literally almost 3 in the afternoon and you haven't eaten."

"My appetite is gone, the thought of food makes me a little nauseous."

"Can I at least make you a smoothie or something, I'd feel so much better knowing you have something in your system."

"I can get up..." I started to get up and still felt that sharp pain. "Nope, never mind."

"It's ok I'll just go make one really fast, don't worry," Luke said before kissing my nose.

"This is so frustrating I feel useless," I whined.
