Unfortunately, my scream didn't wake Luke up, I was sitting in the dark kitchen by myself.

"It's probably just a rock," I whispered to myself.

I sat there for a few minutes and there were no more sounds.

I didn't feel like going upstairs so I went to the couch to watch TV. Still being aware of my surroundings and trying to listen to weird noises.

I turned on the TV looking for a show that wouldn't scare me. After channel surfing, I settled for Family guy.

"There's not much on at 3 in the morning I muttered snuggling into a blanket that we kept on the couch.

-Luke's POV-

My alarm blared in my ear at 4:30 am, I jumped up so I wouldn't wake Dakota up. But when I moved I didn't feel another body in the bed.

"Dakota?" I whispered.

My eyes were struggling to open so I felt around the bed to make sure Dakota wasn't in it. When I realized she wasn't my eyes shot open.

"Dakota?" I said a little bit louder.

There was no response but I heard a noise from downstairs. Opening the door I walked down the hall and saw it was the TV downstairs, Dakota was fast asleep on the couch with a blanket wrapped around her.

I smiled looking down at her before walking back to the room so I could get ready for school.

I got ready as fast as I could so I could cuddle with her for a little bit before I left for school. I quickly showered, threw on some black sweats and a short-sleeved shirt, then I was practically ready to go.

I threw my backpack by the front door and ran over to the couch.

"Good morning baby," I whispered sitting down slowly.

"No," She mumbled.

"You don't gotta wake up yet silly, go back to sleep."

She nodded and went back to sleep.

I wrapped my arm around her and watched TV.

'I'll watch one episode and then leave,' I said in my head getting comfortable.

The show went by way too quickly and it was already 5:30 am.

"I could probably get away with leaving at 6," I muttered looking at my phone.

Dakota started to move around and I looked at her.

"Good morning," she yawned. "Shouldn't you be driving to school?"

"I'm gonna leave at 6, it doesn't take that long to drive to school."

"Oh ok," she said still sleepy snuggling closer to me.

"I'm not gonna wanna leave now," I said wrapping my other arm around her.

"What time is it?" She asked with her eyes closed.

"It's like 5:30."

"You have 30 minutes."

"I know sleepyhead, you don't have to wake up yet."

"But I'm not gonna see you until tomorrow."

'I forgot about that.'

I groaned, "Do I really have to do that."

"Yes, Luke."

"Ughhh."

"You'll survive."

"Barely."

"But then it'll be Wednesday when you come back, then we are leaving on Thursday."

I looked down at Dakota who was looking at the TV.
