Intruder

I walked over to my aunt who was standing at a booth.

"Try this," She held up an orb-looking thing on a stick. 

I looked at it closely, "What is that?" 

She looked at me calmly, "Fish eyes." 

My eyes went wide and I shook my head, "Oh no, I'm not eating that." 

"C'mon it's something different just try it." 

I continued to shake my head no and started to walk away. 

"Are you sure you don't just want to try it?" 

"I am one hundred percent sure I do not want to eat fish eyes," I shivered looking at the glowing black orbs. 

As I was walking away my phone started buzzing in my back pocket. 

"I'll be right back," I announced before walking away. 

I found a quiet place on the edge of the boardwalk. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey Dakota it's Sage," An uneasy voice said on the other line.

"Oh hey Sage, whatsup we haven't talked in forever."

"Yea I don't know what happened I just kinda stopped talking to everyone." 

"Oh no it's ok I'm glad you reached out though." 

"Yea... I was uh wondering if we could talk when you get home?" 

"That's no problem." 

"Ok good, see you in a few days." 

"Yea I'll be back soon." 

The both of us said goodbye and hung up the phone, but right as I turned my phone off and started to walk back it started to buzz again. 

"Have you seen Isabella's snap story?" Sage yelled through the phone. 

"No why?"

"It says swipe up if you want Dakota Williams nudes, how does she even have your nudes?" 

My heart sank, "I've never taken a nude photo in my life." 

"What is she talking about?" 

"I don't know but I've never sent anyone those type of photos, not even to Luke." 

Sage screenshotted the story and texted it to me. 

"What the fuck," I breathed, my eyes started to water and become heavy from pure frustration and fear. I was concerned about what this girl was putting on the internet claiming it was me. 

"Everything's gonna be ok, as long as you know you've never sent those photos before then there's nothing to leak." 

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, "Yea you're right." 

"She can't do anything, everything will be good." 

I wiped my eyes and calmed down before getting off the phone once again, and walking back to my family. 

Luke was the first one to say something, "Who was it?" 

"It was Sage." 

"What did she say?"

"Oh uh, she said she had to tell me something when I got home." 

"is that all she said?"

"No." 

Luke looked at me indicating to continue talking, but instead, I just showed him the screenshot she sent me. 

"But you don't have any nudes? Well I mean I've never received any from you."
