Jessie got up and let Luke and I out.

"Have fun," I smiled waving at him.

"Oh I will," He winked. "You two have fun too and stay safe."

I did one of those girly finger waves before walking down the aisle.

"He's chill," Luke said as we got into the airport building.

"Did he scare you when he walked up?" I laughed.

"Ya know he did a little bit, I thought I had to make it clear you were taken."

"I felt you stiffen up, and you deepened your voice."

"I told you I had to let him know."

"Well, he's gay."

"Yea I realized that... wait do you think it was offensive that I called him bro?" He asked looking worried.

"No babe, I'm sure he didn't care."

We all walked to the baggage claim to get everything.

"You kids get the bags and we'll get the car," Mr. Walters said.

"I'm going with you dad," Molly mumbled half asleep.

"Well it looks like it's just me and Dak then," Luke held my hand up.

"Just make sure you grab the right bags," Mrs. Walters said before they walked away.

We went to the area where our flight bags would be dropped off.

I started to walk closer to the belt and Luke pulled me back.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I was gonna look for bags."

"No no, I'll do it."

"Luke there are 5 bags, I can help."

He let me go and crossed his arms, I smiled and turned back around watching the bags go by.

Luke was behind me on his phone as I was grabbing our bags off the belt.

"Luke help me carry these outside."

"Wha- Dakota why didn't you tell me the bags were coming out."

"I don't know but I'm strong," I flexed.

I put my duffel bag over my shoulder and grabbed Molly and his mom's suitcase.

"No no no, I can't just carry two bags."

"Why not?"

"Because you're little and fragile, lemme take my mom's suitcase."

"I'm strong I can carry it... now let's go."

"God, you're so stubborn."

"I know but you love me."

"Yes more than anything," He said following me out the doors.

We waited until the rental car came around and got all the bags in the trunk.

"And we're off!" His dad said enthusiastically driving off.

"You guys are gonna love our hotel, it's right on the water. We got two connecting rooms I was thinking girls in one room and boys in the other."

"Dakota and I are gonna watch Netflix all night!" Molly yelled.

"Woah woah woah I gotta be stuck with dad, he snores so much," Luke complained.

"I deal with it every night." Mrs. Walters said.
