Chapter 22 – Let Go? I Don’t Think So

I flickered my eyes open, to see Nick sitting while resting his head on top of his arms at the side of my bed. How long has he been here? I thought. I carefully sat up, trying to avoid orthostatic hypotension. I glanced at my clock, it was already 10:03 p.m. I slept 4 hours straight after I fainted? Geez, what is it with me and surprises anyway. I always end up passing out.

Watching Nick sleep facing one side amuses me. He’ll definitely wake up with a stiffen neck, and he’ll be having a hard time facing the other side because it’ll hurt. Well, trust me I’ve tried. Curious as I was, I cleared Nick’s face from his messy hair. He looks like an angel when he sleeps. Yeah, only when he sleeps. I examined his face up close, his nose is beautifully shaped his eyelashes were long and thick, bringing out his gorgeous blue eyes beautifully. And his lips... his pinkish lips... it looks so soft. Then I remembered our little moment. Heat rose in my face, as I touched my lips. Oh my gosh! We kissed!!! Fudging hell! We fucking kissed!

My heart started to hammer again, as I closed my eyes remembering our little moment a while ago. It felt so nice, the way he brushed his lips against mine. Wait, what the hell am I saying? I fucking hate him!

I grabbed the pillow behind me and whacked his head. He immediately bolt up, and looked at me annoyed, “WHAT THE FUCK JANE? WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!”

“STOP CURSING DIMWATT! What the hell are you doing in my room?” Like seriously what is he doing in my territory?

“This Dimwatt actually carried you to your room.” he retorted emphasizing ‘Dimwatt’.

I knitted my eyebrows. He carried me? I looked at him straight in the eye with all seriousness. He might do something stupid like write on my face. I asked, “Why?”

He scratched his head, “Be- because I’m a gentleman.” Right. A gentleman. I thought sarcastically. “And you owe me.”

He’s so unbelievable! I walked straight to him and jabbed my index finger to his chest, “I owe you nothing!”

“You owe me since I carried you in your room.” he replied, crossing his arms as if he won by saying that.

“Dude, I didn’t ask you to!”

He rolled his eyes, “Can you not talk that loud? You might wake your parents up!”

Wait, did my parents know about this? I asked with annoyance in my tone, “They allowed you to stay in my room?”

“Yep. Your mom likes me.” he jumped to my bed and relaxed as if he owns it.

“God.” I groaned turning about seeing him with his hands behind his head, getting all comfy on my precious cotton. Yes, I call my bed cotton because it’s soft.

I stomped my way to my cotton not tearing my gaze at Nick, “I know, I know. I asked her not to leave until you wake up. Since now you’re awake I can go now. Or I could stay here and sleep wi–” he said, but before he could finish I pull him off of my precious cotton and a loud thump occurred when his stupid self is on the floor. I laughed sinisterly on my head.
