Adriel held my hand after he pulled the car in front of a cafe. Kate maybe waiting for us inside. I urged to sigh heavily as I calm myself once more. Napansin niya siguro na hindi ako mapakali so he squeezed my hand and stared at me. Until now, his hazel eyes can afford to console me from being dithered.

"Let's go?" He gingerly asked and I nodded.

He hastily got out from the car and opened the door for me. I moved slightly to the side when he closed the car's door.

Adriel took my hand again as he gently pulled me close to him and gave me a quick hug.

"I'm just right here, love," he whispered right to my ear. "I love you," he added and kissed my forehead.

"I love you, Adriel."

"I know." I thumped his hard chest and he laughed. I just flashed a secluded smile as he held my hand. Adriel got a red-pink face while wearing his charming smile before we went towards the cafe door.

This day we were suppose to proceed first for my checkup but I told Adriel that we can just reschedule it tomorrow.

I'm just wearing a black buttoned, neckline A-line mini dress paired with my beige wedge sandal while Adriel is wearing a white linen shirt, rolled up its sleeves and a black straight pants below. From the door, I already saw her back from the side table nearby the glass wall and probably waiting for Adriel to come off.

As we entered the door, the staff smiled and welcomed us. I just smiled back and focused my eyes on Kate's direction. I felt so intimidated with her red halter strap dress. It shown her sexy shoulder and back.

I went back to my hush state when he squeezed my hand. Kate doesn't know that Adriel brought me here with him in lieu of him going alone. When we reached the other glass door towards the other side, Adriel pulled it off for me as I ambled first inside. Kate tilted her head to the side and her eyes met mine, seems shocked about my presence. She stood with her lips parted. Hindi ko alam kung masaya ba siyang makita ako ngayon o dismayado dahil magkasama kami ni Adriel.

Adriel placed his hand behind my back as we precede to our table. The table set meant for two person only. So, I stepped back and met Adriel's eyes. His hands from my back traveled to my waist and it made me feel secure.

"Good morning, Kate," he greeted and Kate flashed a hesitant smile at him. "I know that you already know Betryle, since you're working with her."

She nodded and managed to smile at me. I flashed a small smile since I can't really put myself together. Adriel moved the chair for me to sat down. He grabbed the chair from the other table since no one was sitting there and moved it beside me. This was more awkward than I imagined it to be.

If I will just erase myself here, they can make themselves a perfect couple. My thoughts really knocking out my confidence.

"Good morning, Ma'am," she greeted courtly and I shook my head at her statement.

"Please, just feel free to call me Betryle," I demanded with a genuine smile as she nodded civily.

Her calling me Ma'am wouldn't help us both now. I pursed my lips when she looked at Adriel, a deep alluring stare. I hastily moved my head at Adriel's direction but instead of staring at Kate, I found his deep hazel eyes staring at me.

Stilled, maybe she used to stare at him like that. I shook my head again. No, no, no. I hate this. I hated what I was feeling but no matter how hard I tried to ease my jealousy, it always won over me. Intimated and jealous, yes, I am. She was the only woman he ever loved before me or anyone else. I don't know but I barely catch my breath about it.
