Seems like every part of my life were falling into its rightful place. I never thought that after such long years of being someone I never used to be, I was able to find my way back to my old self. Though, I like myself better now but it doesn't mean that I'll just forget the worst part of me. Everything that happened to me was part of God's great plan. I cannot change or add something to it since it was perfectly written by the greatest author among all.

Right after I drove Betryle home, I went off here at Conor's house. We agreed that we'll have our catch up today but up to now, wala pa rin si Nikko and Nathan.

I downed the water I bought outside the subdivision. Kulang nalang ay ibuhos ko sa mukha ko.

Hindi ko talaga mapigilang isipin ang lahat ng kakaibang kinikilos ni Betryle kanina. I don't know but I can feel that something's off. I told her that I'll join her scheduled checkup tomorrow but she refused to, she told me that she can manage it alone. Even if I insisted, she never gave up about it. Usually before, she used to let me come with her. As in all of her checkup sessions, I didn't missed any single one of it.

"Bro!" Conor brought me back to reality. May sinasabi ata siya pero masiyadong clouded ang isip ko.

"Oh? Bakit?" I absentmindedly asked.

"Pambihira naman, bro! I've been talking out here like hours and you didn't even heard one single detail about it!" He complained and shot me a scrutinizing look.

"Nag-away ba kayo ni Betryle?" Umiling ako. "Don't tell me you're thinking other gi-"

"Shut up." I threw the pillow from my back to cut him off from what he was saying. I just can't stop thinking about it. Something's off.

"Yow!" Nathan bawled in with Nikko. They gave us both a high-five once they got inside. I gasped the three boxes of pizza gripped by Nikko's hands.

"You sure you can eat all that?" I asked, laughing.

"We can," Nikko taunted my statement and grinned at me. Immediately, Nathan opened our food, Conor's helper brought four glasses of wine and Nikko started pouring out the champagne. Good thing that they quitted their party life, though not really the drinking life but at least the hook up fling with different girls every day. I had flings too before but mine was a different story. It wasn't to the point that every day I change them like clothes. Not that point.

"How's everything with Bet?" Nikko asked as he lounged himself over the couch against us. He crossed his leg under the glass table between our couches and sipped a little in his glass.

"We're good. I mean, okay na ang lahat." Maliban sa kakaibang nararamdaman ko. I felt like she was hiding something from me. Whatever it is, I know that it will not end well for the both of us.

"You mean, also with Kate? Kiera or whatsoever her name is," Nathan asked after he slightly bit from his one slice of pizza.

"Yea." I grabbed some pizza after I downed one glass of water again, this time it was from Conor's house.

"Anyway, please come to our church this Sunday, meron kaming event, sort of gig and drinks. Aasahan ko kayo," I invited and they all nodded.

"Isasama ko si Sheena," Nathan bragged as he grinned at Conor.

"Isasama ko si Shane," Nikko jived at Conor and I laughed when Conor was thinking kung sinong isasama niya.

"Mga siraulo kayo! Wala akong isasama, baka yung helper namin," sambit niya saka kami nagtawanan.

Natahimik kami bigla nang bumuntong-hininga ako. "Lalim bro ah," asar ni Conor. I rubbed my face with my hands and sighed heavily again.

"Thanks for your help, for your effort and for everything. I never imagined na kayong tatlo ang magiging solid kong kaibigan," I said and Conor tapped my back.
