Namjoon's POV -

It snows every year in Seoul, despite how ragingly hot it is in the summer. It comes thick and fast, and it always sticks. Most of the time, it happens overnight, so you don't actually see the storm passing. You just wake up in the morning and suddenly everything has turned white. Sometimes, it doesn't even feel all that cold outside.

I'm not the biggest fan of the snow, to be honest. It was fun when I was a child, and I could go out and play with my family, or have a snowball fight with my friends, but, as I've gotten older, it's just become more of an inconvenience. It means I can't travel to where I need to be, and my bike keeps slipping on the icy ground.

Even when it snows, the company tries to push us to continue our daily tasks. We live in a separate building to the studios and the offices, which means we have to go out and travel in that weather. Even the boys hate driving in the snow, since not many of the backstreets get gritted. It can cause some serious accidents around here.

So, when I pull open my curtains in the morning, I groan when I see the white layer over the whole back garden. It's not just average snow, either. It's already a good few inches thick, and it's still coming down thick and fast. It's not necessarily a storm, but it's going to be a while yet before it stops.

I stumble my way into the kitchen, yawning widely. As usual, the boys are already up, leaving me the last one there, and therefore the one who cleans the dishes after everyone has finished. Why they trust me, I don't know, because I'm a notorious plate breaker when I'm tired.

I start to notice an odd air in the room. Despite how early it is, the boys are awake, giggling excitedly with each other. They look at me happily as I squint back at them, still trying to shake off the sleepiness.

"Namjoon, you'll never guess what!" Jungkook says excitedly, practically bouncing in his chair. "Guess!"

I sigh a little, sitting down heavily. Hoseok yells underneath me, before shoving me off. I sit down on an empty chair this time. "I don't know. It's snowing?"

"Yeah, we know that!" Jimin says, starting to look just as excited. "PDnim called. He's cancelled practice today, so we can stay at home!"

"He said that the snow was too thick, and that it wasn't going to stop all day, so it was safer for us to stay home," Seokjin says. "They're predicting eight inches."

My eyes finally properly open. "Oh? Really?"

Yoongi smiles a little, but he's just as non-committed as usual. "It's nice to have a break once in a while. I can't even remember the last time I went out and played in the snow."

"We're too old for that," Hoseok says.

Taehyung shakes his head. "We're never too old for anything. If you want to play in the snow, then you should. You should never let your age define who you are, hyung."

The table is silent, then, a spoon is thrown at Taehyung. He pouts, and is quite clearly visibly upset about being made fun of. Even Jimin looks a little upset that he's upset Taehyung. We stay quiet, and just eat our breakfast.

All of our alarms went off at 7am, ready for dance practice. That's a pretty late start, as we usually have to get up at 5, so it already feels like I've had a lie in. I think about heading back to bed, to get a little more sleep, since I still feel so tired, but I know I won't be able to drop off. My body is already in this routine. The other boys must feel the same, as no one makes their way back to their rooms.
