Xiao Zhan's POV

"Zhan ge when do you think we should tell my parents?"

I thought about this the whole way back home. I obviously wanted to celebrate the gender of my twins but I also wanted to do it in a special way. 

"Why don't we have a baby shower? But like for your parents, not us, since they don't know yet. Or we can have it not just for your parents how about our friends too? I can invite Zhuo Cheng and Hua Chen is already there! But we would have to somehow plan this all in secret cause you know, Hua Chen lives with us." I started rambling while wriggling in my seat in excitement.

Yibo had just stopped at a red light and laughed at how happy I was planning the baby shower for our friends and family.

By the time we reached the gates, I had kept my mouth shut, scared that I might blurt something our when we go in.

I refrained from talking so that nothing will be spilled. I walked into our room and took a shower. Hopefully, that will calm down my senses. 

Right when I walked out fully clothed the door opened, I sighed in relief that it was just Yibo. 

I smiled and started rambling again, " Yibo, what if we had it in the garden where you proposed. That could be like our sacred space and then we could tell our children all these stories. It wou-"

Yibo chuckled while cutting me off, " Zhan ge I know you're excited but you have to keep your voice down otherwise Hua Chen might hear you."

I tightly closed my lips indicating that I didn't want to be heard. 

Yibo smiles one last time before telling me that he was going to shower, I nodded and made my way over to the bed. 

Laying there and think of how lucky I am to be living with Yibo, I really hit the jackpot.

Especially when he loves me, I never thought that my life would lead to this when I was still held captive.

'Knock, Knock'

"Zhan, it's time for dinner," Hua Chen opened the door, her eyes roaming around our room.

"Where's Yibo?" She asked while finally moving her eyes back to me.

"He's in the shower, we will be there in a while. I'll just wait for him to finish. " I got up when Hua Chen had closed the door and made my way to the bathroom door.

Knocking twice, I started talking once I heard the "What" coming from the other side. 

"Yibo you should hurry, dinner's ready, ", I pressed my ear against the door. It was hard to hear with the shower running. "Alright, I'm almost done Zhan ge" I moved away once I heard the faint reply.

Once we were at the dinner table a conversation was normally brought up about our day or how things were going,

"So, how did the appointment with the doctor go?" Hua Chen had asked when we both were trying to avoid the subject.

"Uhh, it went well. The doctor said that the babies were well and that they were healthy," I almost stuttered which would've made her suspicious.

Yibo gave me a pointed look while I just smiled back. At least I talked unlike him who kept silent, it would have made her even more suspicious.

After dinner was finished, we made sure to do what we did everyday. 

We retired back to our rooms and started to plan out how we would surprise them.
