"Wake up Ariana!" Chelsea shouted in my ears while shaking me as annoying as possible to stop me from sleeping.
" Stop doing that." I murmured and turned to the other side of the bed.
" Don't make me do what i don't want to do." She kept pestering me but i didn't reply. She interrupted my beautiful sleep which should not have been taken for granted. She was to pay for that.
A blinding ray of light hit me all of a sudden and i knew Chelsea didn't want me to sleep but i was not giving in.
"Close that curtain, would you?" I groaned lazily on the bed.
" You need to get up, it is important." She pestered even more. I kept quiet and acted to have dozed off. After a minute, i couldn't hear her disturbing whines again so i smiled in victory and even adjusted myself properly on the bed.
SPLASH!!
Chelsea poured a bucket of water on me. I jerked up immediately dabbing the cold water on my body with the bedsheet.
" Good morning, sunshine." She stood in front of me with a bucket in her hand and a wide smile plastered on her face.
" How could you....."
" I know you would be mad at me so i prepared my peace offering." She said calmly pointing to the table beside the bed. I turned to the table to see a big bowl of chocolate ice cream and my favourite biscuit. That softened me immediately but i still wanted to show that i was mad at her.
" Didn't you think of the consequences before doing this?" I said angrily.
" I did. If it is about my bed, it will be changed and this one sun dried somewhere, anywhere. The room would also be cleaned up by either me or mum." She said, talking like a professional air hostess on a plane and it was freaking me out. I needed a reason to shout at her but she was not giving me a chance. I turned to the alarm at the side of the bed and saw the time was 8:47am.
" What was so important that had you try to wake me up by all means on a Saturday morning, this early?" I frowned.
" I was expecting that question. We need to go to the boutique and salon. Mum said my hair looks like it has been invaded with lice which is really scary. Do you also think it has been invaded with lice?" She panicked in front of me. I looked at her hair and stared back at her. I was placed in a difficult situation and i had options. I could have lied down back and release the disgust and anger on the bed but it was wet. Second option was to talk some sense into the young panicked lady in front of me but she had offered a peace offering. I glared at her for a while and chose the third option in my head.
" I would deal with you when i am done with cleaning up and accepting your peace offering." I said angrily and stormed into the bathroom.
" Thank you so much! I would just get you something to wear." She shouted behind the door.
I huffed and stared at myself in the mirror. My once straight, brown, long hair was all wet and sticking on my face. I sighed and took a new tooth brush, brushed my teeth and had my bath. I walked out of the bathroom in a towel and wore the clothes Chelsea had set down for me, black pants, a white crop top and a big denim jackets with sandals.
Sandals!
This girl can be very funny.
I ran down the stairs to the living room to see Mr. Mcclain reading news papers with a cup of hot tea on the table in front of him.
