  "Hey Ariana." Chelsea said resting on my locker.

" Morning to you too, Chelsea." I replied nudging her away from my locker.

" You look good by the way." Chelsea took a quick glance at me then back to her phone.

" Well, thank you."

" So, are you ready for the school's latest news. I have quite a lot and big ones in stock for you." Chelsea said standing upright.

" I am still confused. You say school daily news yet you tell me more about celebrities in the entertainment world."

" They are the same think young lady.  So i have Friday's news and it looks really big." Chelsea said swiftly scrolling through her phone. I took out the books i needed for classes and shut my locker.

" Who exactly gave you the contract of reading the school's daily news to me?"

"It had always been my job, Ariana. Thank God you are getting it from me for free."

" Oh really? So what is in stock for me then."

" After we won the dance competition on Friday, Bryan hosted a party without Mrs. Henderson's consent."

" So he had the guts. He would not have wanted her to know about it since he knew he was a bad captain at that moment. She would surely be mad at him and would not like him hosting a party."

" Don't talk too much. That is not the real deal Ari. Mandy was at the party that day."

" Mandy? Isn't she in the music department?"

" Yes, but she never misses a party and you should have known that by now."

" Oh, I get what you are saying. Someone special to her must have been there." I said not really caring about what i said. The school knew Mandy as a drama queen and she was very clingy, especially on Aiden. Her mum was an influential person in shell wood school. She had voluntarily given acres of lands to the school for further developments and even monetary contributions. Mandy obviously took advantage of her mother's generosity and decided to act like a brat most of the time.

" Yes, that's why i love you. You are very attentive and smart." Chelsea said so loud, almost everyone in the hallway heard her.

" If i had heard that from someone else, i would have believed them, not you."

" I forgot to add, you are so savage but back to daily news. Mandy was being possessive as usual and she decided to take a break, maybe have a couple of drinks. On her way back, did you know what happened?"

" You tell me."

" She saw Aiden with some other girl and got jealous. She went as far as confronting the girl and got insulted. Apparently, the girl is from Vile high.Our beloved Mandy got angry and smashed a bottle on her head."

" And what happened?" I asked curiously.

" The girl was rushed to the Hospital of course." She replied in a "duh" tone.

" You are kidding me"

" Damn serious."

" Question one, what is someone from Vile high doing at a victory party of Shell wood. Question two, what is the school doing about it?"

" Someone must have invited her. Mandy's mum spoke to the committee and they are all quiet about it. They would surely deny it."

" What? Her mum being of high position in this school just doesn't count. This is crazy."

" Same thoughts over here." Chelsea added as the bell rang for our first class. I silently prayed that moment that i would get by school that day without too much attention from people especially Mandy and Aiden. If Aiden gets around me, he brings Mandy along and bringing Mandy along is like involving the whole school with personal matters of my life. I just wanted to finish classes then go home with Chelsea and have some fun with her parents since my parents were not home. Dad had traveled on a business trip and Mum had night shifts at the hospital. Greg came visiting the day before with his girlfriend and he should have been back in London already doing whatever makes his life interesting. I was grateful i had Chelsea.
