Youth by Daughter
I sat in front of my mirror panicked and confused.
What does he want from me?
What does he want me to do?
Why me?
I kept asking myself questions until mum knocked my door. I quickly adjusted my hair and forced a smile.
" Hey, what are you doing here?" She asked me.
" Ummm. It's my room." I tried to look as convincing as possible.
" I know that. What about Chelsea and Tania?"
" At Chelsea's place."
" Why were you left out?
" I wasn't. Just came to look for something and go there."
" Look for what?"
" Mum, why so many questions?"
" I have to ask of course. Who knows if you are going to meet Mr. Parker's son"
" Mr. Parker's son?"
" Is his name not Aiden? Don't act dumb."
" Seriously? Why does everybody keep talking about him?" I said as my phone beeped.
He must have sent the address.
" Everybody? So it has gotten to that level?"
" Well, that is the point. You are all taking it to that level."
" Darling, what level are you talking about?"
" What?"
" Is he your boyfriend?"
" Hell nah!"
" He better not be. Your dad would feel weird."
" What about dad?"
" Your dad is his dad's employee."
" How come i didn't know that? Our dads know each other?"
" Yes. They are kind of friends sometimes."
" What does that mean?"
" Let us just say your dad is a trusted friend of his dad."
" Wow. That is a lot i have to take in."
" I better not tell you too much or you would tell Chelsea."
" I am not as loose as Chelsea."
" But you are loose."
" What if i tell Chelsea?"
" Why so many questions?"
" You were the one asking questions."
" Go over to her place would you?"
" Are you pushing me out?"
" Maybe." She said and walked out of my room.
" That wasn't nice enough." I shouted and sighed.
Why didn't i tell her about Jake?
" What is wrong with me?" I asked myself after hitting my hand on my head.
I thought about it again and decided to go to the address he sent to me. I wanted to listen to what he had to say and just leave him to his madness. My life had been doing fine since he left and when he came back, i hoped things didn't go worse than i expected it to. I took my phone and checked the address he sent.
