Ariana's pov
Dance to this by Ariana Grande and Troye Sivan.
" Breath in, breath out." The instructor said as I continued my follow along routine.
" Now, go into a bow pose." She said again as I rested my chest on the floor to go into the bow pose.
" I am home." I heard someone shout in the living room.
" Mum." I said and continued my stretching.
It was a male voice. I stopped stretching and walked out of my door. There was no nobody there and the door was closed.
" Hello?" I tip toed to the door and opened it. There was nobody outside. Could it be Jake. He had been stalking me. He would do anything to get me scared.
" My Ariana." Someone said beside me as I jerked back, my hand on my chest. My heart was racing as I stared at my dad laughing at me.
" Dad? You scared me." I said and went to hug him.
" Why did you look so scared? You were not expecting me?" He said hugging me back.
" Mum told me you would be back. I forgot. I am sorry." I said with a smile.
" You forgot? I should get you out of Shell wood then."
" Why?"
" They are stressing you. My favourite won't remember the day I would arrive? Something is wrong somewhere." He said as I laughed.
" You know I have a competition this Saturday." I said as I sat down beside him
" The dance competition? Your mum talked about it. She is so happy about it."
" Not only the the dance competition. That one would come up in four months or so." I replied as he raised an eyebrow.
" It is a mathematics competition." I said as he smiled.
" Oh, I forgot you are too intelligent. "He said ruffling my hair which made me laugh.
" I know about that one too." He laughed.
" You do? Mum has been telling you a lot. "
" She calls me like every time." He said as I looked at him surprisingly.
I thought mum was always too busy to pay attention to me but she knew a lot.
" How many other things did she tell you?"
" You went to a birthday party and wore a black beautiful gown. Tell me, she didn't force you to wear it because I know you won't just wear a gown." He said.
" I wore it willingly."
" You have changed then. She also told me you got a new diary and you made a new friend."
" Who?"
" You shouldn't be asking me. You know who I am talking about." He said as I rolled my eyes.
" Isn't he your friend?"
" Maybe. We shouldn't be talking about him. You are back now. So tell me how your trip was."
" Cool."
" Cool? That is not all I want to hear. Tell me more." I nudged him.
" Come on, tell me more. I need more." I kept nudging him as he laughed.
" You didn't even let him change. So spoilt." Mum walked in with a smile on her face.
" Oh, is this planned? You came early when your husband came back. It is not fair." I frowned as they laughed together. Mum walked over to where dad was and hugged him.
