Ariana's pov

" The money market is a component of the economy which provides short term funds." Mrs. Immaculate dictated and sipped her drink. She adjusted her legs so that she won't affect her huge belly.

I wondered why she was still working in that situation. Being seven months pregnant and still working everyday must have been stressful for her.

" Can I get any other definition before I continue?" She asked, looking around the class. Nobody mentioned a word so she sighed and continued her dictation.

" I was about to raise my hand." Tania said beside me.

" Call for her attention then." I replied as I wrote my note.

We kept quiet and continued our notes for a while.

" What did she say there?" She asked me and glanced at my note. I was surprised at her question because Tania was always my second teacher during a dictation.

Well, nobody is perfect.

" Insurance companies." I said which she wrote down. I wrote for a while and turned to her note to see if I was on the right track.

" Two notes? Whose note is that?" I asked, pointing at the other note on the table.

" Wesley's note." She said and continued writing.

After looking around the class, I saw Wesley beside Aiden at the other side of the class. He with his phone, same as Aiden.

" Wesley is in the class. You can just hand over his note to him." I said to her and corrected myself in my note.

" Don't you know he doesn't write notes?"

" Why are you so concerned anyway? He can write it after the class."

" I prefer helping him. We are close friends."

" I thought someone like Zoey was the one to do things like this for him. You know those two are very close. But it is cool, you can help if you want to." I said and turned the note in front of me.

She stopped writing and looked at me for a while.

" What? " I asked.

" Why do you think Zoey would be the one to write it for him? They are not even that close." Her voice got a little high. I raised an eyebrow at her sudden change of attitude.

" Tania and Ariana, would you two like to include me in your conversation?" Mrs. Immaculate said from the front of the class.

" It was nothing. I got lost for a while." I replied her which made Flora snort.

" Then find yourself and don't disturb the class." She turned to me with a glare.

" Mrs. Immaculate has her own mouth, doesn't she? She never asked for your help." Chelsea retorted from her seat.

" This doesn't call for an argument!" She shouted from the front seat but the murmurs had risen up in the class already.

" Two girls without courtesy. How useless both of you can be." Mandy added and giggled with her friends.

" Who is the fool that just talked about courtesy? You are far below standard, keep that mouth of yours shut." Flora glared at her. Mandy got angry and stood up, screaming and cursing Flora.

" I hope we didn't cause an argument." Tania whispered beside me.

" Someone will have to sort it out. At the mean time, can you tell Chelsea not to interfere in this fight?" I said to Tania who just nodded and tiptoed to Chelsea who was about to shout at Flora. The whole class was watching the drama.
