Aiden's pov

I checked the clock for like the third time. Mary and Ariana were not back yet and Tania was ready to go home. She was done wrapping all the gifts and was watching a movie.

" Ariana didn't try the clothes out?" Aunty Rita asked when she saw them on the chair.

" She wanted to but she went out with Mary." I replied as Mum and Renee walked out together.

" To where? You told me that like thirty minutes ago." Renee frowned. It was almost 7pm and Renee didn't like the idea of Mary out of the house at that time.

" Renee, would you just calm down. Mary is not a baby and she knows how to find her way back home and besides, she went with Ariana and Wesley. If you don't trust Ari, at least trust Wes." I frowned. Harry walked into the house with a smile.

" I am back, family. Nobody told me going around town was that stressful." He said with a smile but almost everybody looked worried.

" Harry, things are not fine. Mary is not back home yet." Mum said, walking over to him.

" How is that possible? Renee is here." He said.

" That is why I am scared! Where did you say she went to?" Renne asked.

" To get some more glue and ribbons for the gifts but I helped her pack them although i didn't place some ribbons on some." Tania said nervously and gave Harry a shy smile. It was the first time she was meeting him.

" She doesn't get those by herself. Aiden, why didn't you just get it for her?" Mum frowned and took her phone.

" Because she has Wesley and Ariana. Can you stop panicking for nothing?" I frowned. I was also scared and was thinking something was wrong somewhere but I didn't want to build up more fear.

As Harry tried to call everyone down, I dialled Wesley's number. It kept on ringing with no reply. I groaned and tried it again, already pacing around the room. Both Mary and Ariana's phone were not reachable. Wesley's phone was our hope but he wasn't picking. I frowned and tried to call again when he called back. I jumped which made everybody turn to me.

" What happened?" Renee asked quickly.

" He is calling back." I smiled and picked it up.

" What the heck is wrong with you, Wes. Everybody is scared. Where are you?" I said with a frown on my face.

" Hello. I am not Wesley but you might know this Wesley, right?" A female voice said on the phone. Her voice didn't sound familiar.

" Who is this?" I frowned even more. Everybody in the room stared at me like I was stupid.

" I am an helper. Your Wesley got injured by a bandit and it looks like a serious situation. He has been taken to Central hospital and he is being treated."

" Shit! Wait! Was there any girl? Two people with him?" I breathed heavily as Renee covered her mouth in tears. She knew it was not good.

" I am sorry. There was nobody with him. Come quickly." She said and cut the call.

I dropped my phone and looked at Harry. He turned his head and sighed.

" Come on. Where is he?" He asked me.

" Aiden, what did that person say?" Mum was pacing around in fear as Aunty Rita tried to calm her down.

" Wesley was attacked and he is in the hospital." I said slowly. Renee gasped, already crying.
