Ariana's pov

Mum changed the bandage on my head and tapped my shoulder with a weird smile.

" What is it that you have done that I don't want to know about?" I turned to her which made her smile.

I knew what that smile meant.

" You should go to school. You can get late." She smiled and walked out of my room.

I turned back to my mirror and packed my hair but dropped it back. The injury on my head was so bad that I had to wrap a whole bandage around my head. Not even something I could use my hair to cover.

I felt like changing my hairstyle into bangs, go Korean style for some days.

Picking up my bag, I rushed down the stairs to see Tania waving at me. Chelsea was right beside her, talking to my mum. Mum looked at me with a smile and walked to the kitchen.

That anger just rose up out of nowhere.

" Mum!" I shouted angrily but she didn't answer me. She eyed me and walked away as Tania shivered at my sudden outburst.

" No good morning?" Tania squeezed her hands together.

" What are you doing here?" I glared at both of them."

" Hey, I wasn't the one that offended you. Stop getting angry at me. And stop being so bias. You could go on a drive with your boyfriend even after what happened and you are abandoning us. I thought it was us before the husbands." Tania said as I raised an eyebrow.

Every thing she said in my own terms were in good quotes bullshit.

" What?"

" Ariana, I know you are angry. Everything was my fault. I allowed Jake." Chelsea said gently.

" Well good for you. I am getting late." I walked past by her.

" I was tired of the comparisons from my dad. He always spoke harshly to me and called me a complete failure. You are a great dancer and always at the front but I was always beside you. It got him angry. He said our friendship would lead us nowhere and I would always be a second as far as you were there. I knew there was nothing I could do that would satisfy him unless you were in your worst state. I did it for him. I wanted him to praise me for once and stopped calling me all of those names." She said as I turned back to look at her.

Her dad seemed to be the nicest to me. Very free and jovial. I could not believe it.

" Jake came by and I thought I had a chance. He also threatened me with the video but when I offered to help him, he got me out of the situation. I didn't tell him to do all he did. Infact, I tried to stop him when it was getting out of hand." She said as I gave her a tissue paper to clean the little tears on her cheek but she hugged me instead.

My heart melted as Chelsea broke down in tears in front of me. I couldn't believe she was really crying. Even if I forgave her, I knew we could never be as close as before.

" It wasn't planned. Jake was taking it too far. I didn't tell him to do all of what he did." She cried on my shoulder as I hugged her back. I sniffed forcing myself to hold back the tears that were about to rush out.

" You could have told me." I whispered in her hair.

" I am sorry." She pulled back cleaning her face.

" The video went viral and Mandy thinks she has an upper hand." Tania said holding her phone in her hand.

" I was never competing with her in the first place. I don't care about any video." I said and picked up my bag.
