Aiden's pov
Just as Ariana rushed out of the dance room, I didn't have a good feeling about it. Wesley wasn't around to help me so I had to stay still to not make me too obvious to her. I walked over to Kevin who was sitting with Mandy.
" You finally came to me." Mandy smiled but I didn't pay attention to her.
" Where is Flora?" I asked Kevin.
" She got some emergency at home. Can't make it to this dance." He said and I sat beside him.
" Aiden, you wanna dance?" Mandy smiled.
" Not really. Maybe later or never." I said as she frowned.
" But I can get us a drink right? I would just call someone."
" Why not go get it. It seems too far and loud for anyone to hear you." I replied as she turned her eyes and stood up.
" Are you good?" I asked Kevin who just smiled.
" Yeah." He replied tapping the screen of his phone.
" Don't give me that reply and that smile. You are acting like a total stranger." I frowned.
" What do you want me to say?"
" You have never asked me that question before."
" Now I am asking."
" Just keep saying you love me." I said which made him scoff and chuckle. I smiled and enjoyed the comfortable silence between us.
" How long have you liked her?" I blurted out. He sighed.
" Just a few months, nothing compared to the years you always thought about her. Don't worry, I would get over it. Still finding it hard though." He smiled.
" She is really complicated. Has a lot of secrets."
" Really?"
" Yeah. She is being disturbed by some annoying idiot and she won't tell anyone. Forced to do what I don't want to do. I so much hate it."
" Why didn't you tell me. Have you been doing this alone?"
" Wesley."
" Both of you might not be enough. She even looks bad over there. Does she get mood swings?" Kevin said pointing to Ariana walking through the crowd in anger.
Was she crying?
" She was fine just now." I stood up going after her as Kevin trailed behind me. She was standing right in front of Chelsea as I walked to her side with Kevin.
" Ariana, what happened?" I asked but she didn't take her eyes off Chelsea. She was really crying.
" Aiden, where are you... A fight?" Mandy ran to me with two drinks in her hand.
" You knew I was not crazy. You knew everything. Everything happening. Did you think he would keep it from me?" She said crying continuosly. Chelsea stared at her softly.
" I did what I had to do." Chelsea said which made Ariana hit her face hard. I turned in shock as everybody's attention was on them. She looked really angry.
" Like I knew they would end up like this." Mandy said with a smile.
" Why?" Ariana shouted as Chelsea swallowed hard. Her face turned hard as she glared at Ariana.
" Because I am tired. " She yelled.
" I am tired of you. Tired of always being a minority when you are around, tired of being the second, tired of you being so perfect." Chelsea said as Ariana turned her head.
