[cha.new] incoming video chat from sxn.woo

chanhee stared at the screen for a few seconds and prepared himself, hoping this time it would be sunwoo on the other end.

as the call connected he tried to quickly fix his hair as his roots were only getting longer.

"chanhee! i'm sorry about earlier, i forgot to remove his print from my phone so he got in. but... anyway, you called? to what do i owe the pleasure?"

he was dressed this time, in all honesty it just looked like he threw a sweater on and sat on his desk of all things. still, seeing him excited to talk to him made his face warm up.

"ah, i just needed your professional opinion on purchasing something, do you think you can help me?"

"of course! what are you buying?"

"a gaming chair."

they probably spent... an hour? just deciding on the chair alone. once chanhee completed the purchase online, they spoke for a whole extra hour. sunwoo's hair was completely dry by then. they just couldn't seem to end their conversations, they took turns speaking and somehow every single time they could transition into a new topic and just keep going.

it wasn't until chanhee finished speaking that sunwoo finally couldn't continue.

"hey, i gotta go."

"ah,, really?"

"yeah, my team has been texting me for a while but i really wanted you to finish talking first. this was fun! i hope you end up liking the chair. also, i really enjoyed talking to you. don't hesitate to call me whenever you want, okay?"

"okay, sunwoo~ i'll talk to you later."

hearing him say his name made his heart flutter and it became hard to end the call when he smiled into his own arm, flustered. "bye, chanhee~ don't forget you owe me a date."

as soon as the call ended, chanhee nearly slammed his head against the desk. he was happy, and for what?? a man?? these weren't feelings he's had since his last relationship, he took it as a sign he was finally moving on and could experience better things. 

oh, were they whipped for each other at this point. it made him think about the near future while also replaying every moment they'd shared together already. if he joined their team, they'd have to see each other more often, right?

if he joined their team, he'd definitely get to meet his other friends, right? the conversation with haknyeon didn't sit well with him. he truly only knew of changmin, sunwoo hadn't mentioned anyone else so far.

thinking again there was: sunwoo, changmin (the friend they hung out with) the guy leaving the team (he couldn't remember his name, and haknyeon (his ex-roommate). then there were too more changmin had mentioned the day they met, but he couldn't recall their names either.

did they know about him or were they as clueless as haknyeon was? all of chanhee's friends knew of sunwoo... did he get too excited? no, maybe it's too soon to be introduced to all  his friends. maybe it will happen soon. he just hoped they didn't hate him.

buzz, buzz

his phone rang in his hand, catching him by surprise. it was juyeon.

"hello?"

"lets's go see a movie! hyunjoon was sponsored by some theater and they gave him two free tickets."

he rolled his eyes, it'd be nice to be sponsored by something like that soon. all the offers he got were for skincare, products he'd never use or buy so it was pointless to advertise on his account.

"just two? and he gave them to you? why?"

"i don't know, he said he had two tickets and i took them both. you can't say no either, i'm already outside."

"you are?" he ran to his window and looked down, there he was. "oh my- you're so annoying, i'll be down in a little." 

what an idiot, chanhee thought. he'd bet anything hyunjoon gave him those tickets because he wanted to go with juyeon. but the boy is so dense, no wonder he's never dated anyone.

he connected his phone to charge as he fixed himself up, the call with sunwoo had nearly drained his battery and if he was going to go out he'd need to take lots of pictures to post up later.

chanhee hurridly fixed his hair to the best of his ability and wore a jacket. juyeon and his vespa were waiting for him outside and he had to look good.

just a few minutes later and he was running down the stairs to greet his friend. the two rode off in the direction of the theater and hung out,,, like friends do.

the movie was alright but chanhee had accidentally fallen asleep with his head on juyeon's shoulder and hand in the popcorn bowl. this would have been fine with juyeon if he hadn't finished their large drink.

his leg and bladder were trembling, but they were probably only an hour into the film. this boy was going to be the death of him.

when the movie was over, he was sure he'd gotten a bladder infection but those could be treated. he stared at the pink-haired boy who slept on his shoulder until the room lights turned on. he looked so peaceful sleeping it'd be a sin to wake him up, but he had to do so anyway.

he gently shook him awake, but it only reminded him of how badly he had to go, so he started shaking just a little harder.

"yah- chanhee." he forgets how much of a heavy sleeper he is.

"hmm?" his eyes slowly opened and he sat up, "oh- i fell asleep? is the movie over?"

"yes, now get up or they're going to usher us out."

chanhee complied and he sleepily followed juyeon out the exit, and into the restroom.

the rest of the night was them wandering around, they even stopped at a cafe inside a mall to give chanhee a little more energy if he wanted to make it home.

"hey, do you still want to do that video?"

"what video?"

"the one younghoon mentioned in my live. the 'my boyfriend does my makeup' one?"

juyeon choked on his iced coffee, "huh? the b-boyfriend one? why do you bring that up?"

"i wanna do it. of course, we'd change the title and do something different. but i think it would give us both a bigger audience- plus we passed by a store that had a shirt i think you'd look really good in, so i've been getting ideas since then."

"oh, okay. yeah, we can do it. after you get me my chair. i won't be doing any filming while i still have a dining chair in my gaming setup."

"okay! but i'd have to sleep over for that."

"sleep over?"
