the next morning, chanhee was surprisingly the first one out of bed and had trudged over to juyeon's living room where his phone had charged last night. the shopping bags were there too from their journeys into the stores to find something suitable for juyeon.

first things first, as soon as his phone turned back on he checked his email to look up the progress of the chair he ordered. he set the address to juyeon's and even paid the express shipping to get it as soon as possible. it should arrive today.

oh, the website said the package had been delivered already and even had a picture to prove it. this was perfect, all he had to do was go and get it before juyeon wakes up.

grabbing a jacket, he made his way downstairs to search for it but regretted it when he saw how huge the box was. this was going to be impossible to bring back up on his own but he had to try.

luckily the box had holes on the sides that made it easier for him to hold onto, and he painfully carried that huge thing back to juyeon's place.

"oh my god- there you are." he was startled by his friend as soon as he walked in, he didn't expect him to be awake.

"you were looking for me? i was only gone for a few minutes."

"but still, i thought something had happened to you." juyeon pulled his hands out of his pockets and neared chanhee, engulfing him in a hug. "you're okay, right? younghoon would kill me if he found out you went missing on my watch. what were you doing?"

he was annoying but chanhee hugged back anyway, there was no escaping his affection. "well, maybe if you stopped hugging me and paid attention to the huge box outside for you, you would see."

"a box? for me?" he couldn't resist presents, that one. as soon as he spotted the large thing, he disregarded chanhee and walked on over. "no way- the chair?"

his smile lit up and he (thankfully) dragged the box in the rest of the way. the diagrams on the cardboard box left no mystery as to what was contained inside.

"yes, i had it delivered here and planned all of this meticulously. if you hadn't asked to go to the movies, i would have come over anyway. but, now you can stop bugging me about the chair i broke."

"wow. you know i love you, right?" he couldn't help himself, he hugged his friend once more and tighter than ever. "you're the best person in this entire world."

chanhee let out a laugh, "i know! i know! you love me, i'm amazing. now quick, open the box and start building it. i'm going to freshen up so we can start filming the video. we must take advantage of this day."

"yes, sir." juyeon saluted and got to work on the box, he didn't even mind having to do all the work as long as he knew the chair was his and he was going to keep it.

as he heard the shower turn on, he took a break from the chair and ran to his bedroom. opening a drawer he pulled out a few articles of clothing and laid them out on the bed. he then grabbed a towel and hung it on his bathroom door knob, knocking to let chanhee know.

the chair assembly wasn't hard as the instructions were understandable and had plenty of diagrams. he got to sit in the chair and spin around a few times before chanhee got out of his 'freshening up' shower.

"hey! the chair looks great, how do you like it?"

he pat the tiny space next to him and chanhee squeezed in, juyeon moving his arm behind him and over his shoulder to decrease the amount of space he was taking up.

"wow, it feels nice even with the two of us in it."

juyeon nodded, "it's really good! did you just pick the prettiest one on the website?"

chanhee rolled his eyes, "no. i asked for help. i wanted to get you the best chair possible. this was expensive too, so you better take care of it this time."

"i will, i will. thank you. the chair is great, are you ready to film?"

"already? what time is it?" chanhee reached for his phone and turned the screen on, "it's 10:29, isn't that too early?"

"i feel like it's going to be a long process."

chanhee took a good look at juyeon's features, and the latter could barely hold eye contact with his gaze at such a close distance. "you're right, we should start asap. i'll get the things ready, you get started on the lights and cameras."

they decided this would be live instead of just a recording, it'd be juyeon's first face reveal on his channel and something completely different from his usual content- so he may lose an audience but also gain new subscribers as well. he didn't really mind the outcome, he was too happy with his new chair to care.

then finally once they were ready, chanhee himself put up a story on his instagram to get his followers to head on over to juyeon's channel to watch the live.

"hey guys," juyeon began as he adjusted himself on his seat, "this might be a little weird to some of you. this is my first time showing my face on here and i'm accompanied by my good friend chanhee. we're going to be doing something a little different today, i hope you guys enjoy it anyway. and- don't worry! i'll be going back to our regularly scheduled programming after this."

"wow-" chanhee covered his mouth after he exclaimed in awe, "you're really good at this." juyeon's confidence in front of the camera was surprising, it almost made chanhee feel tingly on the inside.
