"Hey when I pick you up tomorrow, is it ok if we come back to my mom's house so I can pick up my cats and not bring them to the airport?" Fiona said into the phone. "Plus my mom wants to meet you."
Tom laughed, "Of course I would love to meet your mum, love."
"I'm so excited! I miss you," Fiona admitted. She had missed being close enough to touch his body, and she definitely missed anything else to do with his body.
"Oh trust me, I can't wait to get my hands on you," Tom said seductively into the phone.
Fiona giggled.
"I'm sorry, I'm playing trains with my nephew but I am looking forward to that," Fiona bit her lip, her cheeks blushed at the thought.
"Oh, no. Not the time then for what I was going to say," Tom laughed loudly in her ear. His laugh made her laugh in return.
"Oh really?" She flirted back, excited to hear his plans for them.
. . . .
"Tom!” Fiona spotted Tom coming through the gate. She debated running to him, she was so excited to see him, but she tried to contain herself. He wasn't getting back from war, it was a few days. And he was coming home with her where she could wake up next to him every day. Play it cool, she thought.
Tom walked toward her, his earbuds were dangling over his shoulder as he carried a duffle bag with him. Tom spotted Fiona before she even saw him. She was the most beautiful girl in the crowd of people. Her dark brown hair was clipped back and draped over one shoulder. She had dark red lipstick that complemented her fair skin, as did the black sweater. Her lower half wore a dark red skirt with short boots. Fiona waved as if he didn't see her and continued until he was right in front of her.
"You're silly, you are," Tom said looking down at her. She laughed loudly as he tickled her sides. Fiona bit her lip. Her dark lashes made her eyes look big and innocent as they looked into his. He let out a sigh and leaned in to kiss her smooth lips.
Fiona reached up, her fingers scratched gently along the back of his neck as his lips pressed against hers. His arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her to his body.
Fiona moaned against his lips.
"Let's get your bags," she squeezed his hand. He pulled her close and put his arm around her as they navigated through the airport.
Once at baggage claim Fiona leaned her head against his chest and her arms around him. She wanted to be as close to him as she could. Tom stroked her hair as he held her. The carousel turned on and a slew of bags began circling around. Tom watched for his bag over Fiona.
Tom squeezed her gently and took a step to the side to grab his bag as he saw it slide down the ramp. He lifted the heavy suitcase and pulled the handle to wheel it.
"I can carry the small bag if you want," Fiona offered.
"Don't be silly, love," Tom threw it over his shoulder and wheeled the suitcase behind him. She led Tom out through the dark parking garage.
"I never told you what kind of car I drive," Fiona laughed.
"Hmm?" Tom looked around.
In front of them was a small two door hatchback in lime green. Surprisingly it was able to fit his suitcase easily.
"I had no idea they made a car version of you," Tom laughed. "This is exactly what I would imagine you would drive."
"I know right," Fiona laughed. "I love it."
She slid behind the wheel, Tom next to her. She shut the door and turned to look at Tom, but was already on top of her. His lips devoured hers. Tom reached down for the lever on his seat, and pulled it. He slid the seat back from the dashboard.
