Back in Georgia, Tom had been filming a lot the last 9 days which made them all blend into one another. It was a boring Tuesday night they wrapped and decided to get out of their little bubble and explore the nightlife of Atlanta.

Tom sat in the passenger seat, Jessica in the back, while their other co star, Jason, drove and zipped through the back roads. It was slightly reckless but they had been so sheltered the last few weeks they needed to get out. Suddenly Jason slammed on the breaks as him and Tom both saw a small dog run in front of their car. They pulled over to make sure they didn't hit it. Tom instantly jumped out and looked on the shoulder for it. It could have been injured or just lost. Tom couldn't knowingly leave a lost pup who may or may not be hurt.

Tom walked through the dark brush along the side of the back road. He called out to the dog and patted his leg hoping the dog understood those cues and came over to him. He heard some movement up ahead, toward the main highway, and moved a little faster toward it but didn't want to spook the dog into running into traffic.

He saw the floppy ears bob up and down as the dog ran toward the speeding cars. Tom thought about running faster but he would never make it in time. He put his fingers in his mouth and blew. He whistled louder than he thought he could and it hurt his own ears. He looked out at the silhouette in front of him, it turned and began running at him. Tom had a moment of panic as this animal he has assumed was a dog was now running full speed towards him. He backed up slowly, hoping he could catch sight of what it was before it attacked him.

It drew closer and closer and at the last second, this small golden yellow lab puppy jumped and licked at Tom's hand. Tom sat down in the brush and leaves and held the dog as he licked his face, whimpering. Tom's heart melted at this small, innocent, little being that he happened to stumble across in the dark. Tom scooped up the little dog who was covered in poop and carried him back to the car.

The three of them decided to forgo their plans and instead take the little puppy to get the pet store. Tom automatically knew he was going to keep this little guy, so he had to make sure he had everything he needed.

"How do you know it's even a boy?" Asked Jessica who sat in the front seat now, Tom in the back with the dog asleep in his lap.

"I can feel his woodstock," Tom replied with a laugh. The three of them decided that would be his name, Woodstock, or Woody for short.

"What do you think Fiona is going to say when you tell her you're bringing home a puppy?" Jason asked Tom.

"She's going to love it!" He shouted, making the sleepy puppy jump. Tom stroked his fur and Woody drifted back to sleep. As Tom held him, his hands found a gentle rhythm of taps along the little dogs back. "She loves animals as much as I do. She will be thrilled."

It was almost 10 o'clock, Tom sent Fiona a picture of the puppy with no words attached. He wasn't sure if she was still up, but he figured she'd appreciate it whenever she saw it.

A few moments later his phone rang via Skype, "Hey you got the picture?"

"Yeah... whose dog is that?" She asked him.

"He's ours. I found him," Jessica looked back at Tom from the front seat. Tom lifted the sweet sleeping pup to show her. "We named him Woody."

"He's so cute! I love him," she smiles at Tom. "Where did you find him?" Tom explained the story to her and she complimented how sweet he was. "I wouldn't expect anything less from you."

"He definitely needs a bath before he even thinks about getting in my bed," Tom explained.

"Right now he smells like poop!" Jessica shouted.
