'You know I'm here in your house for the first time, right?' Ryan asked. He'd arrived first, shortly after Abhiraaj did. He also played a significant role in keeping my mood intact to cheerful the entire time. Thet's how he is,

A savior.

'Of course, I do, so I'm planning to give you a special home tour.' I exclaimed. 'Come on in!'

'After you, highness.' He bowed as he made way for me to go. I gave him a quick snicker and led the way. All our friends had left, and it was only him and me in the house. My mom was still a long way from home, so I decided to have some quality time with my best friend. I led him towards my room and then showed him, grandmas and moms. I also took him to my kitchen, which was unusually small, and my common balcony.

'That's my house.' I bowed as we stood on the porch, facing another block of condos.

'Pretty.' He looked around. 'Time for me to leave then.'

I nodded. I really didn't want him to go. I would anyway meet him at school on Monday, which was just a day away, but still. It felt really amazing being around him. 'You remember that time when we literally bunked school for pizza? That instance played in my mind the entire time we devoured them today.' He started. Even he didn't want to leave after all.

'Yes.' Both of us laughed. As we excitedly recalled all the crazy things we'd done in school, to our friends' birthday parties, which was really uncountable, I spotted a guy peeing near a bush on the farther side of the main road. India, oh India.

'Loook!!!!!' I practically screamed and jumped at the same time and then burst out laughing. Ryan turned his head towards it, very interested. Then after focussing on it for a minute or so, he suddenly tapped my head. I mouthed an 'Ow' in reply.

'Wow. Really. Wow. You've got such a sight, madam. I thought it was genuinely something interesting and important! My god Kashi, you're crazy!' He laughed as he gave another playful smack on my head.

'It's weird and funny. Look at...' I burst out laughing as I held my stomach tight.

'Our streets are going dirty because of this practice, men are losing basic etiquettes, and my dear Kashi is laughing at the sight of...' He burst out laughing too. We stood there, holding the railing for some balance and moral support, and giggled our stomachs out.

What was the funniest was our sync, not the scene.

After we had had our pointless fun, I walked Ryan downstairs until the main gate. 'Bye, Kashi, I'll see you on Monday.' He waved as he walked on the roads.

'Someone's birthday is coming!' I shouted as he became tinier.

He turned back and showed me a peace sign, 'Has never really been extraordinary. It's just dad and me this time too. So, ain't really excited! Bye!'

I grinned as I headed back to my apartment.

This guy was different.
