So this was the Abandoned Garden Castle of The Fallen Queen, Etis's most intriguing mystery. The place towards which there is either longing or pity in people's hearts. No one ever really explained properly about what happened to the Fallen Queen. Every one of the Etilets is proud of this woman, but no one ever speaks about what happened.
I decided to push open the huge gate which was inspired by antique french ones. It ran up and high, made of iron, and curled into patterns at the topmost. I walked in. The ground was filled with crisp, orange, leaves of Oak. Oak trees stood majestically in almost every corner of the place. There were different types of lilies planted around. It was breathtaking, but not beautiful. Everything seemed lifeless. The huge castle stood in front of my eyes. It was like the ones we see in historical and Disney movies. I hopped in.
The inside was even more breathtaking.
The huge living room had huge closed windows that were covered with curtains that seemed to be made of velvet. The furniture was richly carved, massive and palatial in structure, and classical in decorative motifs. The color code of the place was black, brown, and oak. Popular french paintings like When Will You Marry by Paul Gaugin and The Church at Auvers by Vincent Van Gough hung around. After walking through the corridors with paintings hung and occasionally peeping in at rooms that were furnished with gothic furniture, I reached the most distinguished part of the place.
The huge hall had a big door which I opened. The room was beaded with torches where fires are lit. The chandelier was even mightier than the one in the living room. In front of me stood the most beautiful throne I'd ever seen in my life.
Carved with the finest of the finest designs and best of the best patterns was the throne, whose from handle to the top seemed awfully lordly to me. I felt like this was what I had been waiting to see all my life. I had never seen such a beautiful thing in my entire lifetime.
I realized this was the place where people were allowed maybe. The other part was the personal living space of The Fallen Queen. Was her name always the Fallen Queen? Why did everyone call here that? I had a strange desire welling up inside me to know the entire story, and my calls were answered.
Just before I could take a look at the humungous portrait that was hung behind the throne, which was probably the Fallen Queen's, I felt like I was slipping into the void.
I screamed and screamed but I kept falling.
I somewhere knew what awaited me.
