I saw Nathaira for the first time. She had sharp features, and her eyes were deep pink. Her skin glowed occasionally, revealing patches of scaly, snakeskin. She wore a head crown and lots of heavy jewelry. She wore a typical Indian sort of blouse and a flowy skirt. Underneath was her snake tail, black and big.
Zachariah hadn't changed even a bit. We zoomed further into somewhere.
There, we saw Natha. It was the Fallen Queen's castle. I felt a strange disturbance while we looked at servants' work around the corner. Natha worked quietly, making something in a big pan. It was boiling. She was accompanied by another woman (serpent), who had red, long hair. They kissed.
Oh.
'Nathaira.' She smiled. How important was this woman to her? Her granddaughter was named after her, after all. 'You stir the curry for some time. I'll go fetch the seasonings. Today is the celebration day. Our crops have been the best this year after such long.' And then she went.
Whatever happened thereafter was quick, as if it was played at 2x speed.
Another woman came and dropped a pile of grime there in the curry, accidentally. But she was unapologetic. Instead, she created a hue and cry, which forced the Fallen Queen to come into the kitchen. She was younger. After careful consideration, she spoke, her tone sharp, 'Did Nathaira do this mistake?'
Of course not.
But then her luck was a bit too bad. No one was actually present there. So when the other woman insisted it was Nathaira, the Fallen Queen chose to believe. In front of Natha's eyes, who had a big bowl of seasoning in her hand, the Fallen Queen held Nathaira up in the air, chocked. That was her signature style, wow.
'I hate who lie, I think I was clear on the very first day of your job.' She fumed, her eyes glowing. This temper was very very harmful, but I had it too, so I couldn't blame her.
Now, it was that stupid woman who was so persuasive, that both Natha and Nathaira stood no chance against her. The Fallen Queen fumed with even more anger, thinking Nathaira was a lying bitch.
And she dropped her into the boiling porridge.
Varya grabbed Aspen's hand in shock and Ryan intuitively held me in his arms.
Her screams were numbing.
'Once we find this Fallen Queen, who I'm sure is hiding somewhere here, we're gonna take over the entire Etis, in front of her. She'll see what actual evil is.' Nathaira hissed, her fangs protruding out of her mouth.
'Yes, also, we'll take over that Earth. And I have the perfect remedy of how to start terror there.' Zachariah grinned cruelly.
Why did it sound like both my homes were in grave danger?
Because they were.
People weren't realizing how big this threat was.
Fucking evil masterminds.
