'I'm coming.' I said in one go.
Ryan's mouth fell open. And then he pinched himself to check if whatever he heard was real or not. Did it sound so unexpected?
'You're...Thank you...I mean yeah, we're finally on our... ah.' He smiled ear to ear. He then came and kissed me. Those were becoming the favorite parts of my life now. How could I trade Ryan and Etis for life on Earth?
I know, sounds ridiculous. I'm probably crazed. I know only half of Etis and I won't have my parents there.
But then I want to go. I'm tired of mundane life in Mumbai. Sure, it's fun sometimes and I don't hate it, but hitting the restart button has always been my go-to dream.
Plus I'll have Ryan. We'll figure it out.
'You know how your life changes after this Kashi? If you're lucky, you might even have magical powers! You may acquire them!' Ryan jumped around. 'Roaming the whole of Etis would be so much fun. You're the first person to be brought into Etis after ten long years! We're VIP!'
'Wait, I'm literally flesh and blood, human. I don't think I'll be able to acquire magical powers. Will you guys throw me out if I fail?' I asked. I'm not taking that risk. I'd die. 'I can't and don't think I'll be able to change clothes in a swirl of my hand like Aspen does. I'm not made that way.'
'Oh no. You don't need to have the magic to be an Etilet. Please, I hate that name. You don't have to have powers to be living as a citizen of Etis. Actually, most people get disappointed when they don't develop their powers. But that hardly happens. Because magic in Etis comes from within. Every blood cell in your body decides how efficient you'll be in that art.' Ryan spoke. I so wish I had brought a notepad. 'Also, Aspen is a nature spirit. In Etis, all parts of Nature have their own soul and can take human forms. It's one of our most cherished features.'
Sounds fun.
