'You must be Karishma, my niece is so happy she's meeting you.' Prakash greeted. He had such an effortless smile as if he was born with that. Varya was a little mermaid with red hair and fin. She gestured me to follow her and took me to her bedroom. It was mostly books in water, but they did not affect anyone of them anyways. It hardly made stuff wet. I also had to stay on my Zephad all the time to avoid accidental death.
'You write too?' She asked happily. I liked how cheerful and happy this girl was. Just like I was when I was young. Now, stuff happened which made me as gloomy as a funeral.
'Yeah on a really small scale. Your books were really nice. You read the fanfiction I wrote based on them?'
'Yes, I did! I love it so much! It's my first fanfiction! And also, your wrote me a freggin fanmail! I can't believe it!' She did a somersault. Sometimes I want to be a mermaid.
'Grow as a writer!' I blessed her. I felt really old although, doing that.
We talked for a long time and I genuinely enjoyed her company. She was an innocent soul and she told me about everything that ever happened in her life since she was mature enough to remember stuff. I decided to share some of my thoughts too. I told her everything that was worrying me, except I replaced the word 'kiss' with the word 'best friend' to provide some sort of censorship.
'Yes, I had a best friend already but I also had a person whom I wanted would be my best friend but after I found my best friend I did not think about anymore. Actually, I stopped thinking much before but then I made him best friend when he asked me if I want to become his best friend even after I had a best friend. Is it bad? Also cannot have two best friends.'
I didn't realize what I blabbered. The least coherent thing I ever did in life.
'You wanted him to be your best friend for a long time, so you will need some time to adjust. You did a bad thing, but not such a bad thing. Your current best friend might not forgive you completely, but it wasn't so bad if we look through your eyes.' She smiled innocently.
I gave her a tight hug.
She was barely twelve, yet her opinion was very legit, and she knew what I was actually talking about.
