'It's mine now. You're mine now, don't you know? A broken marriage means a destroyed life for women. Be my right hand now, we'll live happily ever after.' He said, coming close to her slowly. 'You know I love you very much, we'll do this together.' I could see love though, but more than that, I saw obsession. 'You give me your power, I'll give you my love.'

'Things shall change.' Marvella fumed and took deep breaths. She looked at the entire population of Etis. 'I shall be the Fallen Queen, and I shall be there always. Grow and go forward.'

And then she burst into a pile of white dust. She was gone.

There was chaos amongst the people, everyone shouted and wailed. Some tried calling their queen out. No one knew what happened. As Zachariah laughed with all his might and the woman bit random people as a huge snake, the fact that the most powerful and beautiful queen of all times had just disappeared, hung in the very air of Etis.

In between the havoc-filled crowd, we stood in translucent skin, me and Ryan, holding our hands tight, trying to figure out what was happening. Ryan seemed genuinely awestruck as if he'd seen a ghost. It was a big thing, being an Etilet for him, to witness their greatest mystery of all times.

That's when he stepped forward. Veer. He quietly walked up to Zachariah behind his back and shattered his belt. Zachariah fell face first. Everyone was shaken.

'What have you done, you foolish man?' Zachariah spat as he growled in pain. Maybe that was all his strength. 'And how did you know?'

'She told me. I got the message. Fear not, oh people of Etis. I and Marvella have well discussed this part, I will take care of you. It is my sole responsibility.' Veer shouted.

'He's a fraud.' The serpent woman hissed. Natha proceeded towards attacking him, but he was so swift that she could hardly catch him. After a long fight, he finally killed her with a knife.

He zoomed away on his carpet (Alladin's carpet? No, it was the older version of a Zephad), dragging wounded Zachariah along with him.

We slipped into void.

'And then Veer came to be known as the Risen King. He restored order in Etis. Although he had to sacrifice his own land for it, where he trapped Zachariah forever with the help of the magic of various powers in Etis. He also slowly started to divide the realms more prominently but keeping the bonding alive. He developed the present-day Etis, which is so flawless in functioning. He made great progress, even married and had kids, but he never forgot the Fallen Queen, who left, giving him everything. She had put so much trust into him in their brief meeting of two weeks.' Matilda narrated. 'But then after ages, Nathaira, Natha's granddaughter somehow met Zachariah, and then they turned that part of Etis into the Beguiling Islands, which is now the negative force preparing to strike back.'

'I remember mysterious murders making the news channels, they were increasing intensively in Etis. That's when they realized it was Zachariah. After prolonged fights, which almost killed half of our warriors, the attacks stopped one fine day, five years ago. And then everyone pretended it was just a bad phase.' Aspen narrated.

'And I know why, this is because they're quite devastated and angry with the fact that the Queen left her people so suddenly, but also very grateful for the fact that Veer was ruler because he brought changes like never before. The Queen's might, we believe is so much, that even in her absence she continued to be a supreme leader and Veer? He was our savior.' Matilda spoke again. 'This story is not such that you'll finish in an hour or so, its pure divinity.'

And as everyone started speaking about all sorts of different things about Etis's past, we reached back to the Enchanted Islands. We went to the Pentatox, as Varya had to be dropped there and Matilda had got a call.

'It's started again.' The Air realm ruler massaged her temples as she said.

'What's started again?' Ryan asked, his eyes glowing. 'I smell fear, regret, and guilt. And evil.'

'Evil's in the air, we shouldn't have neglected the attacks when they stopped completely. You all made a mistake.' Deisy screeched as she came in. 'Now, they're back. With even more power than before.'

'Get out Deisy! You're barred from the Pentatox! How dare you step foot here, I'll have you ripped into pieces.' Cecila screamed at the top of her voice. 'I wi--

'Shut up, Cecila. Just shut up. You say you're an efficient ruler? How are you an efficient ruler? You neglected serious attacks, despite knowing the fact that they came from a very dangerous source.' I raised my voice. 'And now you're desperately trying to prove that Savannah is the Queen, and why is that? What are your interests huh?'

Okay, why does everyone look at everything with their mouths wide open every time?

'Karishma, you're an Earthling, remember that. Remember your position.' She fumed as she headed over and raised her hand on me, and was stopped by Mat. Okay, Mat?

He cared about me.

'And I thought there was no discrimination, no bad feelings in Etis. It was all of your faults she's caught up in this mess, don't mess with Etis, Cecila.' Mat fumed.

'You might be the head now, but people are what Etis is defined by. Don't you dare. Accept it was your negligence.' Ryan fumed. 'My eyes can snap life out of you, every inch of your body can be electrified, don't mess with my girl.'

The elders were obviously protesting our behavior. Deisy smiled in one corner and Matilda was deep in thought. The others basically complained about the fact that today's teens are so disrespectful.

Maybe the Earth and Etis weren't too different from each other, after all.
