9. b. First Scan

Nearly two weeks ago I had a scare. I thought I lost the baby. Doyoung took me to the hospital and everything was okay. Thank God. We cannot loose our Little Bean. Yep that's what me and Doyoung call the baby till we give them a name. We will name them when we know they are a boy or a girl. Anyway this afternoon we gave our first scan at the hospital. Think God Little Bean is still okay. I'm not getting stomach cramps anymore. Thankfully. We have just left our house now and we are in the car on our way. "I'm so happy we've finally got our first scan, jagiya" Doyoung said. "Yes me too, Doyoungie. We can see how Little Bean is" I reply. "Hopefully well. Thank God. You didn't loose them" he said. I smile. We arrived at the hospital pretty soon and check in. We have plenty of time before my scan. Doyoung grips onto my hand as we wait and he keeps on smiling at me. Aawww I love my hubby so much. We get called in by a nice friendly lady who greets us with a handshake. "How are you doing, Y/ N?" she asks. "I'm doing okay. Thanks" I reply. "I heard you had a little scare a couple of weeks ago" she said. "Yes I did. I thought I was losing the baby but it turned out to be really bad cramps. We've been trying to get pregnant for years but I was told I couldn't. It was such a miracle for us both when we found out" I say. The lady smiles. "I can confirm that your baby is doing well. Nothing is wrong with he or she. You can relax" she said. "Little Bean is fine" Doyoung said. "That's our nickname for the baby" I say. "Cute" the lady said. The scan lasted for a few more then we left. It went great and Little Bean is healthy and well which is amazing to know

Johnny 💛

Now that Johnny is back in Seoul I'm on my own. I am still figuring out when I can go over and see him. Hopefully in the next few weeks. I have my first scan this morning. Instead of going alone, my mom offered to go with me since Johnny isn't going to be here and I said yes of course as I'm close with my mom and I love her. I am on my way and meeting her there. While I'm having my scan I'm going to put Johnny on FaceTime so he can see. I mean if I'm allowed to do it. My mom arrived a few minutes ago. I'm almost there. This is a special moment for her too. I arrived and see my mom waiting for me outside the maternity centre. "Hi, mom" I say. "Hi, sweetie. How are you?" she said. "I'm good. Thank you for coming" I smile. "My pleasure" mom smiles. We wait in the waiting room to be called in. It wasn't long though. The sonographer starts examining me. "Johnny wants to see the scan" I say. I put Johnny on FaceTime. "Sorry my husband is away and he wants to see the scan. Hope you don't mind" I say. "It's fine" the woman said. "Hey, sweetie. Are you there?" Johnny said as he picked up. "Yes I am. Are you ready to see our baby for the first time?" I say. "Yes absolutely. Can't wait" Johnny replies. I turn the camera on my phone around so he can see. "There's the little munchkin" I say. "Awe. Hey, baby. It's your daddy" he said. "Yes that's right" I blush. Johnny takes a few minutes looking at the baby on the monitor. He lights up and is so happy to see it. Our little one in there. It's a shame he can't be here but at least he hot to see our baby for the first time virtually

His POV

Y/ N has her first scan this morning and I'm with her of course. I've told a little white lie to the guys that I have an appointment. We don't want them to know she's pregnant yet. We'll tell them soon though. We hope they'll be happy for us. We've just arrived at the hospital now. Her appointment is in 20 minutes or so. We are hear early for once. We usually have a reputation for showing up late everywhere. We are early and on time this morning which is good. Can't wait to see our baby for the first time. We take a seat in the waiting room and wait to be called in. Y/ N holds my hand as we wait to be called in. "I'm excited, Taeil" she said. "Me too, sweetie. I'm very excited. This is a very exciting time for us as a couple" I reply. She smiles. About 10 minutes later we got called into the room for the scan. We are greeted by the midwife and Y/ N lays on the bed and she starts examining her. The jelly goes on. "Why is the gel used?" I ask. "Because it's a good conductor between the skin and the monitor" the midwife replies. Me and Y/ N both look at the screen at our baby. "Baby" she said. "I know. That's our child" I laugh. "They are cute. Very cute" Y/ N said. We both smile at each other and look at the monitor. "Everything looks good with your baby, Y/ N. Healthy one" the midwife said. "Thank you. That's great. Just what we wanted to hear" Y/ N replies. We leave the hospital feeling happy that we had our first scan this morning. It was time for me to get back to work after

I have my first scan this morning at the hospital. I'm 9 weeks pregnant now so it's the right time to have my first scan. Yuta is coming with me of course. He wouldn't miss our baby's first scan for the world. Not at all. We have just left our apartment now. Well my apartment. Yuta hasn't officially moved in yet but he will be doing soon once he's moved his stuff out of the NCT house. Now that we are engaged and expecting a baby we need to live together. We are almost at the hospital now. "Babe" Yuta said. "Yes" I reply. "I can't wait for his next journey in our lives" he said. "Me too, Yuta. I'm so excited for our scan this morning" I smile. We arrive at the hospital and check in and take a seat in the waiting area. "Yuta, I think I've gained weight more at this point. I'm showing a little bit. What if it's twins?" I say. "Well I'd be surprised, hun but that doesn't mean I'll leave you or anything" Yuta replies. "I know you won't" I reply. I get called in 5 minutes later. The lady greets us. "Y/ N, I'm going to spread this jelly stuff on your tummy if you don't mind" she said. "Sure" I reply. She puts the jelly on and puts the probe on my tummy. The heartbeat seems strong. "Loud" Yuta said. "I know. Can I ask? Are we having twins?" I say. "Yes that's definitely two heartbeats. I can see two babies too" she said. "Twins. Oh wow! You were right, love" Yuta said. "It appears I am. I figured I was gaining more weight. I'm only 9 weeks but it kinda feels like I'm double" I say. "That's common when you're having twins. You have two very healthy babies. Anyway" the lady said. Yuta and I are having twins. Wow! I was kinda half expecting it anyway. Twins!!!!!

A/ N: Yuta is the other one having twins. Did you expect that too?
