23. a. Picking A Name

Mark 💖

Mark and I need to decide on a name for our son soon. We want to have an idea of what name to give him before he's born. We both said that we want to go for a western name not a Korean name. Mark is from Canada so we want him to have a western name. So far Mark likes Carter and Wyatt but I'm not so sure. I don't think last names should be used as first names. I think Reuben and Elliott are cute name for a boy. I guess we both have to decide between us on a name for our baby. Mark and I are at home chilling together now having a nice relaxing evening together. We are sat snuggled up on the couch together. "Babe, something's bugging me" Mark said. "What's that?" I reply. "We need to decide on a name for our son. I think he should be called Carter or Wyatt" Mark said. "Yeah I know, Markie but I like Reuben and Elliott" I reply. "Don't you like Carter or Wyatt?" he asks. "Not 100%. Those are generally used as surnames. I think Reuben sounds really cute" I say. "Yeah it does kinda" he said. "Ah I have an idea. Hmmmm how about Reuben Carter Lee. That would sound cute" I say. "Yeah it  does or Carter Reuben or Wyatt Elliott. I like all" Mark said. "Reuben Carter definitely" I say. "Okay then. Our boy will be called Reuben Carter Lee. I like it very much, babe. Sorry for slating your name choices" he said. "It's fine, Markie. I'm glad we could agree on a name for him together" I smile. "Awwww, baby. Me too. Can't wait to meet our handsome little boy, Reuben" Mark said touching my bump. So we have decided that our baby boy will be called Reuben Carter Lee. A great name for him

Jaehyun 💜

Jaehyun and I might choose out a name for the baby for when they are born. One boy name and one girl name. Jaehyun jokes, if the baby is a boy we should name him after him. Jaehyun Jr. I think it would be pretty cute but it will be confusing at time. Anyway as long as we have an idea on what we should name the baby. I am finishing getting ready for the day. We are not really going anywhere special. Maybe just for a walk later on this afternoon and probably watch some good movies. "Jagiya, you're so beautiful without makeup on. You don't have to put it on for me, sweetie" Jaehyun said. "But I feel better with it on, Hyun" I reply. "You're amazing to me either way" he said. I finish getting ready. "Babe, I have a good name on mind if the baby is a girl" Jaehyun says.  "Ohhhh do you?" I reply. "It's similar to Jaehyun. I was thinking we could call her Joohyun. It's a cute name and sounds a lot like mine" he said. "Okay yes I like it. Joohyun will be a great name if we have a little girl" I say. "Brilliant. You can pick a boys name so it's fair" Jaehyun said. "Alright. I'll be thinking" I reply. Later on me and Jaehyun go for a walk round where we live. "I think a boys name has just popped into mind. How about Jaesung? Similar to Jaehyun again" I say. "Yeah I like it. So Joohyun is the little one of it's a girl and Jaesung if it's a boy" he said. "Yes fantastic. We've decided on a name each" I say. "Yes we have. Just can't wait to meet the little one" he smiles. Jaehyun and I have decided on a boy name and a girl name for the baby. Jaesung or Joohyun

His POV

Y/ N and I have been talking about possibilities for names we could use for our baby son. I want to name him something similar to my name like Taesung, Taeyang or Taeho. I don't think Y/ N is that keen on that. She hasn't actually said but I don't think she is. I'll ask her anyway. Y/ N is in the middle of doing some work atm so I'll ask her when she's done. I keep myself occupied with other things while she's busy. I get bored when Y/ N isn't with him. We are enjoying life as newlyweds and soon to be parents. About half an hour later, Y/ N had finished doing what she was doing. She comes and joins me. "Hey, baby. How did you do?" I say. "I did alright. Done now" she replies. "That's great. Can I get my gorgeous wife a drink?" I say. "A tea sure. You know I love it when you call me that" Y/ N replies. "I do, baby" I smile. I go into the kitchen to make Y/ N a tea. I come back a few minutes later. "Thank you, my hubby" I say. "Babe, what do you think about a Tae name for our son. I want him to have a similar name to me" I say. "I don't know, Taeyong. Maybe if you want" she replies. "Okay I was thinking we could call him Taesung, Taeyang or Taeho" I say. "Taeho I like. There is already a lot of Taeyang's around and that's probably too similar to your name" Y/ N said. "Okay I think I like Taeho the best so I guess that will be his name. Lee Taeho" I say. "Yes I think that's a great name for our son, Taeyong. Good choice" she says. We have decided on a name for our son. Taeho will be his name and we can't wait to meet him in a few weeks time

Jungwoo ❤️

Since Jungwoo and I don't know the genders of our twins, we can't fully decide on names for them. We might choose a couple of boy names and a couple of girl names that we like out just so we are ready for when they are born. I like the name Heeyoung for a girl. I don't know what I like for a boy yet. I'm going to ask Jungwoo what makes he likes. It's something we haven't really discussed yet. Jungwoo and I are finishing eating dinner now so I'll ask him when we've finished. "Delicious meal" he smiles putting his knife and fork on his plate. "Thanks. Yes it was. Jungwoo, I know we've just finished eating but do you have any names for the babies in mind. I like Heeyoung for a girl" I say. "No I don't really at the moment, sweetie but how about we look at some name ideas on the internet after we've tidied up" Jungwoo replies. "Yes" I smile. Me and Jungwoo wash and dry up after dinner then we sit down on the couch and look at possible baby names. "Boreum and Chunhwa are good names for girls" he said. "Yeah I guess so" I reply. "I also like Hanna for a girl as well. Similar to the western name" I say. "Yep now let's look at some boy names now" Jungwoo said. We look at boy names for some ideas too. "Byungjoon is a good one" I said. "I like Seungwan" he said. "I like Hanbin" I say. "Yes those are some good names" Jungwoo said. "So how about Chunhwa and Heeyoung for girls and Byungjoon and Seungwan" I say. "Yes great names. I love them all" he smiles. "Whatever we don't use this time we can save for next time" I say. "Yes certainly" he said. So Jungwoo and I have two boy names Seungwan and Byungjoon and two girl names Heeyoung and Chunhwa. Can't wait to see which names we use for the twins. Obviously depending on their genders

Donghyuck 💚

I have had the name Miyoung in mind for a while. Probably a few years. I said I'd like to use it if I have a daughter some day. Me and Donghyuck are having a daughter now so we might be able to use it. We haven't actually discussed names for our baby girl yet. So I need to see if he likes it. I know Donghyuck probably had some girl names in mind when Eunsang was born. He said he didn't know his gender when he was born and his birth mother didn't care. She abandoned Eunsang with Donghyuck after she gave birth to him. That definitely won't be me. Donghyuck is in the kitchen cooking dinner. I was doing something in the nursery. We are misery organised for the baby. Eunsang is playing or watching TV in the lounge. I go into the kitchen to see how Donghyuck was doing. "Hey. How's it going, babe?" I say. "Yeah it's going okay, babe. Don't you worry" he said. "Hyuckie, can I ask you something?" I say. "Sure, baby. You can ask me anything'" he replies. "Did you have any girl names in mind when Eunsang was born?" Donghyuck said. "Ummmm maybe one or two" he replies. "Like what. I've always loved the name Miyoung for a little girl" I say. "Awww that's a sweet name. I think I liked Hyemi or Siyeon at the time but I do like Miyoung. It sounds really sweet" Donghyuck said. "So maybe can we use if for our princess, Hyuck" I say. "Of course, my love. We can. I love it. I think it would suit her very much" he smiles. "Awwww I love you, Donghyuck. I can't wait to meet our little girl Miyoung" I say. "Oh me too and I love you too" he said. Donghyuck and I share a little kiss in the kitchen. So we are going to call our daughter Miyoung. Yay! We are using the name I've loved for years

After this book I might do a Kpop imagines book. Some of you might remember I used to do imagines on here before pregnancy books. I haven't done all Kpop before. I might do for a change but probably won't be till the end of November. I'll this one is done. I wouldn't abandon this one. I have a few scenarios in mind actually. Do you think I should?
